Donald Trump is spiraling. And he’s dragging the entire Justice Department down with him.
In a recent interview on the MeidasTouch Network, I was joined by Senator Adam Schiff to unpack the absolute insanity unfolding before our eyes. While Trump rage-posts on social media about how the “fake news” is obsessed with the “Epstein hoax” (his words, not ours), his own handpicked cronies are crawling through the Jeffrey Epstein files looking for any mention of his name.
Let me say it clearly: calling the Epstein investigation a “hoax” is a slap in the face to every single survivor of Epstein’s crimes. It’s despicable. And it reeks of fear.
Senator Schiff confirmed what many of us have suspected: Trump reportedly ordered over a thousand DOJ agents to comb through the Epstein files and flag any reference to him. And as I interviewed Schiff, Trump’s former defense attorney, who he made the number two official at the DOJ, was just preparing to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted child sex trafficker, while Pam Bondi coordinates the whole thing.
This isn’t normal. This isn’t justice. This is Trump turning the DOJ into his personal legal clean-up crew. Schiff and I discussed how the House Oversight Committee finally voted to subpoena Ghislaine Maxwell’s deposition, thanks to pressure from Democrats. Then magically, Trump’s people spring into action, making contact with Maxwell, claiming “no one is above the law.” Give me a break.
Let’s be honest about what’s going on: Trump is terrified. The Epstein files reportedly include over 300GB of evidence—videos, recordings, documents, witness interviews—and it’s all sitting there, ready to be released. But instead of transparency, Trump is trying to gaslight the public, crying “witch hunt” and attacking everyone from Barack Obama to Joe Biden. It’s incoherent. It’s cowardly. It’s dangerous.
Senator Schiff laid out the stakes: Trump’s approval is cratering. His own party is running for cover. House Republicans canceled their session just to avoid voting on Epstein-related legislation. Meanwhile, in the Senate, not a single Republican dared vote against preserving the Epstein files—it passed by voice vote.
They all know this is a ticking time bomb.
And if that wasn’t enough, Trump’s numbers among young people are in freefall. The cost of healthcare is about to explode, thanks to his gutting of the Affordable Care Act. His tariffs are set to hammer the economy. And his immigration policies, ripping apart families, detaining hardworking parents, and raiding courtrooms, are horrifying.
We are living in a country where the president fires the prosecutor who successfully put away Epstein’s accomplice… then sends his own defense lawyer to go see if she wants a pardon.
That’s a cover-up in broad daylight.
