Honestly my Dear, I don’t believe any of us weren’t horrified or disgusted and/or depressed and discouraged…one of my daughters is a psychologist and believe me you are not alone! We are all processing our grief at the loss of Kamala and Tim’s brilliant and beautiful vision of OUR America! Check out #FAFO on YouTube (it makes me smile every day)… as awful as everything we’re going to have to endure in the coming years may seem… This could be the necessary evil that will cause at least some MAGA Americans to ‘become woke’ because this time around, their own votes ARE GOING TO AFFECT THEM DIRECTLY! Don’t beat yourself up over what ALL of us were feeling on some level, and kudos to you for owning it! We’re all in this together and however long it takes, we WILL win!!!

Thank you for your comment. I was just thinking back to a conversation that I had with my dad's girlfriend in 2016. She had voted for Trump and within a month she was so sorry and kept saying "I can't believe that I helped him get elected!" Well, he won and will go down in history as the WORST president this country has ever seen.

I have no idea how things would have turned out had he not been elected but I promise you that she DID NOT vote for him this time.

I have heard the phrase "on the right/wrong side of history". My prayer is that we all get the chance to be on the RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY...Now, not to wait four more years. 🙏

Thank you Sharon for that inspiring conversation...Yes, so many of us are on the same journey as you. The road will be filled with many holes, but our spirit will fill them up with hope for a new recovery. Ben, his brothers, Ron and all the other hosts do a good job of trying to lift our spirits and try to make us forget the "barricades" facing us. We must stay united someway and somehow and defeat the evil that is present..I do not enjoy using that word, but it fits the program, and as stated before, the MAGA folks will soon feel the repercussion of their voting choice. Peace....

Exactly! Maybe as horrible as it will be, this is what people needed to wake up out of their privilege and complacent outlook that America would n ever become a fascist country, or that somehow MAGA rhetoric and hate won't affect them. They are about to find out! Half the battle is knowledge and having tools to cope. People who have had major adversities, illnesses, recovered addicts, or been through counseling will cope much better than those who have not.

Well said and an excellent point! Those who are used to suffering adversity or even everyday racism or homophobia or antisemitism, will fare much better than the MAGA garbage who voted for the fascists, because they already deal with that BS every day! The FO (find out) part of FAFO is already bringing us comfort on multiple levels, with more to come, no doubt…

Hi Ben,

Well said sir, well said!!

The ONLY way to go forward and succeed with a fairer and more understanding society, is to be positive, consistent, persistent and persuasive. Know where you are going and what you can achieve with cooperative action in numbers greater than ONE. Work hard with other like-minded people and you can succeed. Motivated teams can do so much more than lots of individuals.

Cheering from the sidelines here in England and giving paid support as well.

Be EXEMPLARY!
