Harris is running like she's 20 points behind, she might not prevail, but that sure sounds like a good strategy. Trump has his followers convinced they are winning. They are very smug over on X. When do MAGAs stop being Trump's suckers? They just never learn. They are a conman's dream.
A reminder that on Reddit and X, there is rampant bot accounts that are unchecked by the website owners. And Elon Musk has a special button to allow him to push his preferred trending topics to the top, and bury the others at the bottom. The bots work in concert to make them trending, and then he can shove them in everyone's faces.... or kill them, like he did the "Epstein's Best Friend" that went viral over the weekend.
I heard a pollster talking last week and he said, polls are created based on previous elections but that is a flawed method. They don’t know what is happening with young people and Dobbs. They don’t understand GenZ and Millennials or the number in their generation. They built 2024 polls based on 2020 assumptions about how to find the random sample to calculate their stats. They are repeating indicators that fail now. Older women like me ,Boomer, are angry and believe they need to protect their daughters and Granddaughters. The turn out I think is going to surprise everyone.
They also simply don't know how to reach Millennials. We stopped answering the phones because of call fatigue from all the stupid "calling about your call's extended warranty" scams in the last few years.
If someone asks me to answer a survey in the street, I'd answer gladly. But I'm never answering an unlisted number ever again.
My grandaughter is a GenZ and our State is blue. My Observation is that most GenZ young men are really supportive of a woman’s right to choose. It reinforces their concern for all people.
Fun trivia…..if Harris won every state where she had more individual donors that were also registered voters, regardless of the amount of the donation…..she’d get 500 EV’s. This is based on WaPo analysis of donor data.
