I canceled my WaPo and Amazon subscriptions, and I never signed up for X. For the past seven years, I've been buying secondhand clothes and furniture to reduce my support of big corporations and impact on the environment. Earlier today, Ben reported that CNN's oligarch owner praised Trump’s win—time to consider boycotting CNN’s sponsors
I totally cleared out of (then) Twitter when it was purchased by someone I not only couldn't admire, but actively disliked. Just a week ago, I cancelled Prime and by the EOM, intend to be done with all things Amazon. Won't be quite as easy for us oldies, but I lived most of my 83 yrs without internet, cell phones and Amazon. So far I still have the first two!
Anna B, thank you for inspiring me. Also, I've been avoiding the news since the election so I didn't realize Amazon had caved. I just place a big order with Amazon. Too late to cancel. And you're right, us oldies (I'm 70) can survive with less.
We don’t even have to go cold turkey if all of us do it together. Even a 20% hit in top line revenue would scare these billionaires into rethinking their choices.
I’m looking at my local pet food store options as we speak. And my son and I are going thrifting and resale store shopping later today.
The educated and creative class need to be willing to pull our money out of this economy if we are serious at all about resisting.
Boycotts are one of the oldest forms of protest. And we represent a solid amount of discretionary spending.

You are a leader I the Resistance. Thank you!
Agreed and my boycott muscle is strong. I have boycotted Amazon since 2015. Who has the guts to join me?

You are a modern day hero!
One thought, Target is a good source to order from if they are in your area. Thank you for your patriotism.
Went cold turkey on Amazon.
