I think I tend to be an "it's always darkest before it's pitch black" kind of person, but for me an uplifting silver lining to this godawful cloud we are in has been the exposure to new courageous Democrats who both speak well and based their statements on facts that they can provide from competent sources. I don't know if the power of these intelligent people who want to save Democracy or not, but for me, someone who lives in a very very red maga state full of hate and ignorance it's very refreshing just to know somewhere out there there are such good people.
