This Weekend in Politics, Bulletin 251
… After Trump’s disastrous string of days last week capped off by the terrible Laura Ingraham interview which infuriated MAGA on several different issues (chronicled extensively in previous Bulletins), he made things even worse with vicious personal attacks on former allies Marge Greene, Rand Paul and Thomas Massie this weekend. MAGA activists have taken sides and have been tearing each other apart online for the past 48 hours.
… Trump: “I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!).”
… “I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.”
… Another: “Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was. Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)! Marjorie “Traitor” Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!”
… Greene responded: “I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected. Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now. This time by the President of the US.”
… “As a woman I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel. As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump‘s bills and agenda, his aggression against me which also fuels the venomous nature of his radical internet trolls (many of whom are paid), this is completely shocking to everyone. The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end.”
… Many wondered what Greene’s boyfriend Brian Glenn, who is the WH correspondent for Real America’s Voice and is called on often by Trump, was going to do. He answered that clearly by posting several pics of himself with Greene, stating how much he loves her and he is standing with her no matter the consequences from Trump.
… Laura Loomer responded to Glenn: “Nobody cares, simp! Trump should revoke your White House press pass.”
… Glenn replied to Loomer, “Shut up bitch.”
… Loomer: “Oh no. MTG’s boyfriend who cheated on his wife to be with an ape is calling me a bitch. How will I ever recover?”
… Loomer then said she may move to GA to run against Greene: “Should I move to Georgia? I told President Trump and his staff in 2022 that she was bad news and that she would turn on Trump. I told the public in 2021. Years ahead of the curve on Marjorie Traitor Greene, one of the most wicked women I’ve ever met.”
… Greene then went on CNN: Q - “We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It’s not new. And I haven’t heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you. Greene: I think that’s fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I’m sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.”
… MAGA influencer Catturd: “Of course, Marjorie Traitor Greene runs straight to CNN today and apologizes to the far left loons, plays the victim, and sucks up to the Democrat party. This is the biggest and fastest meltdown freefall I’ve ever seen in politics in my life. Total crash and burn. It’s ugly. We all have to get behind a primary opponent for Greene.”
… Greene said many of her recent criticisms of Trump are valid because he has sold out his own voters: “I can disagree with the president at times, especially this past Monday, on the Marines’ 250th anniversary, when he honored the new Syrian president who is an Al Qaeda terrorist and was wanted by our govt for years.”
… Greene: “This and the Epstein files is why I’m being attacked by Trump. It really makes you wonder what is in those files and who and what country is putting so much pressure on him?”
… Trump then went after Thomas Massie and Rand Paul: “Did Thomas Massie, sometimes referred to as Rand Paul Jr., because of the fact that he always votes against the Republican Party, get married already??? Boy, that was quick! No wonder the Polls have him at less than an 8% chance of winning the Election. Anyway, have a great life Thomas and (?). His wife will soon find out that she’s stuck with a LOSER!”
… Rand Paul’s chief of staff Doug Stafford: “The President probably should refrain from comparing marriages and personal behaviors in marriage with Massie and Paul, each of whom married the love of their life and are/were good husbands for 30 plus years each. No messy adulterous divorces. No hush money to porn stars to cover up affairs. What an absolutely gross statement put out tonight.”
… Loomer: “Serious question and serious answers only. How did Massie’s wife die? Is there a police report? Is there an autopsy? Why is this such a mystery? I’d like to know. I find it to be so bizarre and I always have. Now there’s a much younger woman in the picture.”
… Rhonda Massie’s cause of death was “respiratory complications of chronic autoimmune myopathy.”
… MAGA activist Sara Higdon: “This man is insane. I voted for him, but he is too far gone. Attacking Greene who has been nothing but loyal to him, and now this just gross attack on Massie. He’s lost it. I mean the man with multiple wives is trying to attack the man who lost the love of his life, for re-marrying after her tragic death. Insanely gross.”
… Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis: “Massie’s beloved wife Rhonda passed away unexpectedly in June 2024. They were married 31 years. I know personally from my friendship of more a decade with Massie how incredibly difficult it was to find himself suddenly a widower and losing his best friend. I have prayed for him every day.
I was absolutely delighted he married a year and a half later and wish only the best for him and his beautiful bride Carolyn.”
… MAGA influencer Mike Adams: “I am 100% standing with Greene as well as Massie. These 3 people are extraordinary in their courage, their values, their honesty and their alignment with pro-America principles that MAGA used to pretend to support. The fact that Trump is so actively and desperately trying to destroy their careers is a damning indictment of Trump himself, not of these people.”
… Adams: “As of today, I see about HALF of Trump’s former base throwing in the towel and saying they’re done with Trump. He has allowed people like Susie Wiles and Netanyahu to utterly destroy his admin and any hope for GOP election victories in the near future. Trump has detonated the Republican party from the inside, like a political chaos agent.”
Reminder that we make the entire Weekend Bulletin available to free subscribers, and they are able to read the first third of the daily Bulletins during the week. Thank you to everyone who reads, shares and subscribes to my work. If you missed the last Bulletin, you can find it here.
… Right-wing podcaster Clint Russell: “It’s official. Trump is abandoning MAGA, attacking MTG and Massie, all to cover up the Epstein files. Mind blowing. He’s gonna get impeached and honestly I don’t care.”
… MAGA activist Bryce Lipscomb: “In 2024, I helped build a bridge for RFK Jr. supporters and libertarians to MAGA. I helped build the coalition that voted for Trump.
In 2028, my goal will be getting those people to either stay home or write in Massie or Greene. I will do my best to see that JD Vance loses the presidential election in 2028. MAGA needs to be neutered.”
… Right-wing lawyer Robert Barnes, who has represented Alex Jones and J6ers: “Trump 2025: betray loyalists, reward traitors.”
… Podcaster and Trump supporter Tim Pool: “Trump decided to end MAGA in these past couple of weeks.”
… America First activist and longtime Trump supporter Trisha Hope: “I am no longer entertained by this man. I’m beginning to find him repulsive. Trump is acting in a way that should alarm every single America, never in a million years did I think we would be here, but we are.”
… Right-wing podcaster and comedian Tim Dillon: “This is the end of the Trump admin. This is the beginning of the lame duck presidency. It’s obvious to everyone, even his most ardent supporters show up to the WH like Laura Ingraham, she’s kind of shocked, like, ‘What the hell is going on?’ Now we’ll start 3 years of talking about the ballroom. He will trail off, he’ll get older, he’s adorning the WH in gold. Epstein’s gonna suck the oxygen out of a lot of this.”
… Dillon on Trump telling Ingraham we need more Chinese students to save Black colleges: “Does anyone believe that? Does anyone believe that we’re letting 400,000 Chinese students in so they can keep Black colleges going? I mean, how stupid do they think we all are? It’s really getting to the point where it’s kind of insane - that’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.”
… Recently pardoned former Rep. George Santos: “I’m at a loss. Something is going on in the air and everyone I like and admire are at odds with one another.”
… Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) on NBC: “He’s sowing the seeds for his own lame duck presidency. He’s out of touch with his own base. Don’t ask me, just look at Rasmussen, People’s Pundit. All these people that were on his side are saying, ‘Mr President, what happened to you?’”
… Gavin Newsom: “Please pray for our President. He is not mentally well.”
… Several Trump supporters posted videos and photos of themselves burning MAGA hats.
… Trump then attacked Indiana Republicans: “Very disappointed in Indiana State Senate Republicans, led by RINO Senators Rod Bray and Greg Goode, for not wanting to redistrict their State, allowing the Congress to perhaps gain two more Republican seats. Because of these two politically correct type ‘gentlemen,’ and a few others, they could be depriving Republicans of a Majority in the House, A VERY BIG DEAL! CA is trying to pick up 5 seats, and no one is complaining about that.”
… “It’s weak ‘Republicans’ that cause our Country such problems. Also, a friend of mine, Gov Mike Braun, perhaps, is not working the way he should to get the necessary Votes. Considering that Mike wouldn’t be Governor without me (Not even close!), is disappointing! Any Republican that votes against this important redistricting, potentially having an impact on America itself, should be PRIMARIED. Bray, Goode, and the others should DO THEIR JOB, AND DO IT NOW! If not, let’s get them out of office, ASAP.”
… Then he went after NBC’s late night host: “Seth Meyers is suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). He was viewed last night in an uncontrollable rage, likely due to the fact that his ‘show’ is a Ratings DISASTER. Aside from everything else, Meyers has no talent, and NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!”
… That post was ominously retweeted by Trump’s FCC Commissioner Brenden Carr.
… Massie was on ABC talking Epstein: “I would remind my Republican colleagues who are deciding how to vote, Trump can protect you in red districts right now by giving you an endorsement, but by 2030, he’s not gonna be the president and you will have voted to protect pedophiles if you don’t vote to release those files. The record of this vote will last longer than Trump’s presidency.”
… Massie on Trump ordering AG Pam Bondi to open a new investigation on the Epstein case after she announced months ago she was closing it: “The president has been saying this is a hoax. Well, he’s just now decided to investigate a hoax, if it’s a hoax. And I have another concern about these investigations he’s announced. If they have ongoing investigations, those documents can’t be released. So this might be a big smokescreen as a last ditch effort to prevent the release of the Epstein files.”
… Sen. Tom Barrasso (R-WY) said if if the House passes it, the Senate may not even vote on it: “This is not about truth, this is about an attempt by the Democrats to make President Trump a lame duck president and I’m not gonna aid and abet them in their effort to do that.”
… CBS’s Margaret Brennan asked this question of Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY):“Can you explain the focus this past week in the House by Democrats on the Jeffrey Epstein files? Is this a tactic to distract from the failure to extract healthcare changes?”
… I can answer that: No. It’s the fact that Mike Johnson just reconvened the House for the first time in 2 months, finally swore in Grijalva, and we just got the 218th signature to move it forward. Duh.
… Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) on X: “I’ll be voting NO on the Epstein Hoax. The Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax to distract us from the winning of Trump and his admin. My message to my Republican colleagues: Don’t let this noise keep us from delivering on the mandate the American people gave us. I’m not going to let this hoax, manufactured by Democrats, slow us down.”
… Nehls’s post was hit with this brutal Community Note fact check: “Rep Nehls is no stranger to hiding evidence. He was previously fired from a police department for numerous violations to include destruction of evidence.”
… Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) on ABC: “He wouldn’t be going through all of this effort to try to stop the release of these files if he wasn’t seriously implicated in those files. This is most likely the biggest corruption scandal in the history of the country. We know that because Trump is going to these extraordinary lengths to stop these files from coming out.”
… Murphy was asked about a possible war with Venezuela: “It’s pretty clear it’s just an effort to distract people from the rising prices and the Epstein scandal. No one wants a war with Venezuela. And by the way, it’s wildly illegal.”
… Axios: “Republicans are racing to avoid an upset in TN, where Democrats hope Trump’s opposition to releasing the ‘Epstein files’ will help them splinter the conservative vote in a special election on Dec. 2. Trump won TN’s 7th congressional district by 22 points in 2024. Losing the seat — vacated by former Rep. Mark Green — to Democrats would fuel expectations that the party is heading for a tough midterm election.”
… “A liberal group called Your Community PAC began a $300,000-plus ad blitz on Friday attacking GOP nominee Matt Van Epps for opposing the release of documents related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.” A line from the ad: “The Epstein files are locked away. Matt Van Epps will keep them that way.”
… NYT: “Trump Org is in talks that could bring a Trump-branded property to one of Saudi Arabia’s largest govt-owned real estate developments. The negotiations are the latest example of Trump blending governance and family business, particularly in Persian Gulf countries. Since returning to office, the president’s family and businesses have announced new ventures abroad involving billions of dollars, made hundreds of millions from cryptocurrency, and sold tickets to a private dinner hosted by Trump.”
… “Trump is set to host Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler, next week. The prince is overseeing a $63 billion project that is set to transform the historic Saudi town of Diriyah into a luxury destination with hotels, retail shops and office space. He hopes to sign a mutual defense agreement with Washington and potentially advance a deal to transfer American nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia.”
… “That sets up a scenario in which Trump discusses matters of national security with a foreign leader who is also a key figure in a potential business deal with the president’s family. The recent blending of business and politics has shattered American norms but is ordinary in the Gulf, where hereditary ruling families hold nearly absolute power and the phrase ‘conflict of interest’ carries little weight.”
… Lindsey Graham posted about Trump’s fundraiser for him this weekend: “What a great day playing golf with President Trump! So much fun today at the Trump Graham Golf Classic, that will benefit the Republican cause greatly. Trump was very generous with his time and I appreciate all who made this hugely successful. Thank you, Mr. President.
… Scott Bessent on Fox talking about tariffs: “This is one of President Trump’s signature policies, and traditionally the Supreme Court does not interfere with a president’s signature policy.”
… The way our constitutional republic works is that the supreme court is supposed to strike down actions by the executive when they perform an act that is exclusively granted to congress in the constitution. Whether it is a “signature policy” is irrelevant.
… Q - “When do you think the public is really gonna feel an impact from your moves to rein in the cost of living? Bessent: I think we’re gonna see a substantial acceleration in the economy in the first or second quarter.”
… Dr. Oz was asked on CNN about ACA subsides expiring next month: Q - “If someone is watching now and worried they aren’t going to be able to afford insurance at the end of the year, are you making a promise that the president and Congress will make sure they can? Oz: I can promise you the president is laser focused on this.”
… WH economic advisor Kevin Hassett was asked about it on ABC: “Blame Democrats.”
… That is pretty much the motto of the Trump admin.
… Q - “The president claims that Thanksgiving costs are down 25%. Does he know that’s not true? Hassett: Well if you look at Walmart-- Host: Wait a minute. I’ve gotta stop you. The Walmart package this year contains much less than the one last year. That’s why the price is less. Hassett: I don’t understand where you’re going. You want us to fix what Biden did right away?”
… Arbor Data Science: “US grocery prices are now at an all-time high. The average cost of groceries for a family of 4 is now up to a record $1,030/month.”
… Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) was asked on CBS if he now regrets his key vote to confirm RFK Jr: “You live life forward. Again, you just do. Let the day’s own troubles be sufficient for the day.”
… He was then asked about Trump’s anti-vaccine statements: “When the president got his physical, he got the flu and covid shots. So he has demonstrated he believes in immunization.”
… He believes in immunization FOR HIMSELF. He believes is spreading conspiracy theories for everyone else.
… Pete Hegseth posted this: “OPERATION ROUGH RIDER = Freedom of Navigation for U.S. ships. OPERATION MIDNIGHT HAMMER = Obliteration of Iranian nuclear sites. OPERATION SOUTHERN SPEAR = Destroy Narco-Terrorists killing Americans. Trump means business - and the world knows it. Peace Through Strength.”
… Malcolm Nance: “I shit you not. I thought Hegseth was listing out Gay porn movie names. If these were real mission names soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines are LAUGHING THEIR ASSES OFF.”

After Hissyfit Rottinghand went after Seth Meyers, I went to YouTube to see his Friday monologue. It was focused on Trump's erroding support and his wretched Ingram interview. He had a montage of DJT saying publicly that he's a "cheerleader for America" It was fantastic.
Fuck Donald Trump and his cult. RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!
