He is serious and sober when he needs to be, but he is also hopeful..and watching us from Canada. Like a guardian. Occasionally he'll post a short video on his Substack. . I don't want to overwhelm you, but I follow the "Raging Moderates" podcast on Youtube. It's with Jessica.Tarlov (from Fox's The Five, which I will never watch) , but she is fabulous. Dem. Brilliant..Bryn Mawr. I think two degrees and a PHD from London School of Economic and partners with Prof Scott Galloway (who also does Pivot with Kara Swisher). Scott's gone a lot so Jessica always has great guests and I try to catch her when I can. She had Timothy Snyder on a couple of months ago and she was fan girling, and I say it with the greatest respect...because he is so respected. He really listens to whoever he is speaking with, hears every word, no matter how long you talk, and then he responds thoughtfully.
