He can’t file suits of defamation or libel, if the claims are true…
We must call his lawsuits what they truly are; Extortion. Shake-downs, racketeering, “protection money” or free services out of law firms. Blackmailing colleges and universities, corporations, media outlets and skimming off of their profits in exchange for playing along with his anti-DEI, anti-semitism farce, and religious freedom for the Christo-fascists, horseshit.
Every person or entity with money, and a broad audience that supports his agenda, is no more than a mark in his con. The mistake they made was acquiescing to his demands of millions of dollars as punishment for telling the truth about him. Or agreeing to his illogical and irresponsible, unlawful edicts. Once you pay a con even one dollar, you’ve proven you’re willing to give up more of them. Old English saying: “Never give the Dane your gold. Because you’ll never be rid of the Dane.” Today? Insert his name instead of “Dane”. My apologies to the Danes…
Look at the corporations who’ve already paid millions in campaign contributions, then got tapped for more millions to attend his parties and invest in his crypto-scam. It didn’t stop there-they forked over more-as he rakes in billions, to build his ballroom. You can bet they’ll pay out more to step in the door of it. Those without the money of his wealthy marks, are marks also. But what he takes from them is their futures and that of their children, their minds and use of reason, for false hopes and lies in exchange. His own cabinet members are marks in his con. The arrogant and greedy, misfits and the warped of mind, with plenty of psychotic tendencies in anti-social behavior and incompetence to match, so he can look like the smart one in the room. Every single one of his marks KNOWS he’s unfit and corrupt but do they dare to question him or end the relationship? No. Some are getting rich, but he gets a cut. Some are taking it in the shorts. He still gets a cut. Never, give a trump your gold. A lesson clearly, never learned.
I definitely prefer your written comments, which allows time to read and digest the information. Thank you for your tireless efforts to keep us informed!
America’s Greed Problem: The Reason Why Democracy Is Crashing
When the wealthy get wealthy they want more This has become the billionaires creed “I can never have enough I must get more You can never have enough (fill in the blank eg boats planes etc)”
The Bezos’, Zuckerberg’s, Theil’s, Musk’s of the billionaire world use the excuse that “they are building their corporations for the good of their shareholders or if they want to play the patriotic card, the country” But let’s be honest The bottom line is that the only reason they exist is to line their pockets at the expense of the peons who are foolish enough to support their companies so that they can make $$$ on their investment
So there is a large growing class of the wealthy American investment community which the average American doesn’t participate And you can see where this is going These top of the $$$ peak in the country is supported by a vast network of investors throwing large sums of cash around to gain even greater wealth And this leads to groups of people who want to support a fraudulent criminal organization like the CNPP(Christian Nationalist Pedo Party) to keep the greed game going
What this looks like is a 21st century version of the roaring 20’s featured in the Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby which didn’t end well And how this got started goes back to the government’s need to keep the state afloat economically through QE This put massive amounts of $$$ into the system which got multiplied in the equity markets but for the average American devalued the dollar to the point in terms of gold is now worth 5cents of what it was in 1971
John D. Rockefeller, the wealthiest man in the early 1900s, once gave a famous reply to a reporter who asked him, “How much money is enough?” Rockefeller answered, “Just a little bit more.” Many have cited this as proof of Rockefeller’s greed, assuming he was never satisfied no matter how rich he became. But this view misses the deeper point Rockefeller was making. He wasn’t really saying that he needed more money to be content. Instead, his ironic quip exposed the foolishness of thinking that any amount of wealth can fulfill the human heart. By answering “just a little bit more,” he sarcastically mirrored back the absurdity of the idea. His witty response hinted that true fulfillment comes from things money can’t buy, like love, meaning, and goodness.
We also have a wide swath of americans who have checked out on participating in civics, prefer to doomscroll over reading, and frankly, don’t care where their stuff they can’t afford or really need comes from as long as it’s cheap. We created a class of purchasers and Amazon is their dopamine hit. No one saves, they just spend and use karma easy payments to make it ‘affordable’. We are a growing illiterate class and thanks to trump’s anti-science push, the brain drain has begun. Perhaps this is a new kind of Darwinism?
As you stated so well, we have become incurious, non-productive consumers, hell-bent on destroying our planet, where disposability and the newest iPhone model each year overtake landfills and reuse, repair, recycle, and repurpose now link to Soylent Green. Artificial general intelligence (AGI) is a hypothetical stage in the development of machine learning (ML) in which an artificial intelligence (AI) system can match or exceed the cognitive abilities of human beings across any task. In singularity theory, the first AI that can perform any intellectual task a human can is known as artificial general intelligence (AGI). Because AGI is as smart as any human, it will know how to improve upon itself as well as humans—if not better. Two quotes that bookend your excellent points (WJB-M and PtV):
"Whoever controls the education of our children controls our future." ~ Wilma Mankiller
“A government that controls education will never teach us to stand up for our rights. A government that is responsible for the development of young minds will teach them what to think, not how to think. A government that can control what we know, and what we don’t know, can control what we do. Government schools will never teach an alternative to blind allegiance. The consequences of government education are far-reaching, profound, and compounded with each generation.” ~ Adam Kokesh, Freedom!
Absolutely so. AI and Ethics in Education; James Madison University, January 2026:
• Accessibility and Equity: Not all students and schools have equal access to the technology and infrastructure needed for AI-based education. This digital divide can exacerbate educational inequalities.
• Data Privacy and Security: AI systems in education often rely on collecting and analyzing large amounts of data about students. This raises questions about how this data is stored, who has access to it, and how it is used. There are risks of breaches of privacy and potential misuse of data.
• Bias and Fairness: Educational AI can be subject to bias, depending on how it's trained and what data it's trained on. An AI tutoring system could potentially favor certain types of students over others, based on the data it was trained with. This could perpetuate existing biases and inequalities.
• Teacher-Student Relationship: While AI can automate some tasks, it cannot replace the human interaction and emotional support provided by teachers. There are concerns that over-reliance on AI could erode the teacher-student relationship and the social skills students develop in the classroom.
• Skill Development: As AI and automation become increasingly integrated into the workforce, there is a need to ensure education systems are adequately preparing students with the skills they will need for the future. This includes not just technical skills AI, but also soft skills like critical thinking and creativity that AI is currently not able to replicate.
• Transparency and Understanding: Many AI systems are "black boxes" where the decision-making process is opaque. This can make it hard to trust the system or to challenge its decisions.
• Regulation and Policy: Policy-making in this area is complex and needs to strike a balance between protecting students and enabling innovation.
Having spent my entire career working in forms of state funded education I hope I have taught critical thinking skills consistently throughout that period. I know that I have always opposed blind allegiances as blind alleys. So I don't think the problem is necessarily having Government funded schools and colleges but there is always a need to make Government funded education accountable to democratically determined norms and values. That means getting involved in the work of politics - something theorists of education like Paulo Freire and bell hooks knew well.
Typical GOP misdirection. The bill is promoted as one that prevents strip-dancing in the presence of children in schools. Only at the end does its manipulative purpose become apparent: “‘sexually oriented material’ means material that— involves gender dysphoria or transgenderism.’" The bill seeks to deny equal rights (and ban the discussion of the underlying reasons) pertaining to two GOP-disfavored groups, people who: (a) are transgender [1] and/or (b) experience gender dysphoria [2]. Separation of the unwanted.
The news story. "Republicans in Congress are trying to pass a bill that would ban strippers from performing in front of children in schools, something that is not happening anywhere in the country. But the outrageous and shocking nature of the bill may draw attention away from the fact that the bill bans any mention of transgender people and could even ban trans people from becoming teachers." The proposed legislation. "No funds under this Act may be used to promote literature or other materials to, children under the age of 18 that includes sexually oriented material. Mary Miller (R-IL) https://tinyurl.com/2spxn78e

Absolutely. When younger we always had the attitude to live and let live. Also. We minded our own business and tried to be kind and inclusive. I have and have had all kinds of friends. It is their heart that matters . Not who they love, worship, or their skin color.
Especially when the Dictator Derange Dimwit Moron "speaks" in these podcasts/ broadcasts. I'd rather read it. Even then, it's extremely difficult to take. At least I don't hear the Idiot's voice, which is disgusting.
I like the written report. A lot of times I don’t have the luxury of watching a video. But this I can scan really quickly and get the gist and get caught up on what’s going on. Thanks, Ben.
Trump and Bibi vastly underestimated Iran. The whole area is now in chaos, and what is the USA going to gain from all of this? All of this bloodshed and cost because of another one of Trump's stupid decisions.
trump underestimates ALL countries, especially or enemies/ones that don't agree with us. Iran, like many others, are laughing at him to his face. He's too stupid to realize it and honestly believes they absolutely adore and worship him. Very similar to the republiCRAPS in this country.
Thanks, Ben. I read rather than watch, so this is great by me. Grateful for all you do.
I too am a reader not a video watcher. More of this, please and thank you 🙏

Same here.
That’s what I have been saying already several times. To the point without bla-bla.
I unsubscribed this morning. Could reconsider if you write just in a few points the news. $10, you are the most expensive of all Substacks !
That's because they provide the most global of all the other substacks. Please resubscribe as this is one of few with comprehensive independent journalism. I decline many others in order to afford much better coverage that meidas touch provides
Well worth it
I would rather read most of the time. Ben writes very well - I can hear his voice speaking the words....
Please reconsider. I have three substacks that I subscribe to and Meidas Touch is the first one I read.
And Heather Cox Richardson.
I appreciate having the video with the written summary / transcript underneath. I tend to listen to the audio more than watch while I’m multi tasking. It’s nice to have the option(s). Me too. I can read much faster than people talk. Video tends to put me to sleep.
You're absolutely entitled to your preference, but I recommend trying increasing the playback speed. I found it very helpful with what felt like agonizingly slow talking

Over a 30 year period, Donald Trump has filed over 4,000 lawsuits. That breaks down to a lawsuit every 2.5 days.
And never once has he sued someone for calling him a PEDOPHILE !!
He'll sue you for calling him broke, but not for calling him that.
Just thought it was curious.
If he sued for being called a pedophile, he might have to testify UNDER OATH!
{Thank you for your attention to this matter /snark}

We really need to demand they control this power. Rather than just waiting to see if it happens. Too many un knows.
• Regulation and Policy: Policy-making in this area is complex and needs to strike a balance between protecting students and enabling innovation.

excellent thanks
Thank you
Having spent my entire career working in forms of state funded education I hope I have taught critical thinking skills consistently throughout that period.
Comments please.......lost for words!!!

They are out od their effin minds. Just wanna waste time doing nothing constructive. Likke dumping dump.
My mind moves faster than my fingers. The Typo Queen 👸🏽 🤪
Important catch, thank you.
But the outrageous and shocking nature of the bill may draw attention away from the fact that the bill bans any mention of transgender people and could even ban trans people from becoming teachers." MSN; 26-Feb-26; https://tinyurl.com/2spxn78e
The proposed legislation. "No funds under this Act may be used to promote literature or other materials to, children under the age of 18 that includes sexually oriented material. The term ‘sexually oriented material’ means material that— involves gender dysphoria or transgenderism.’" H.R. 7661, the "Stop the Sexualization of Children Act," proposed by Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) https://tinyurl.com/2spxn78e
[1] Transgender defined. Transgender is an umbrella term for persons whose gender identity, gender expression or behavior does not conform to that typically associated with the sex to which they were assigned at birth. Understanding transgender people; American Psychological Association; 9-Mar-23; https://tinyurl.com/whdbcbw5
[2] Gender dysphoria defined. ““Gender dysphoria” is a psychiatric diagnosis that refers to the psychological distress that results from an incongruence between one’s sex assigned at birth and one’s gender identity." American Psychiatric Association; July 2025; https://tinyurl.com/mvzttj9t
Another catch was......"If Pam Bondi was a waitress".....the video went viral....I did a follow up.....ex Christian Nationalis April Ajoy!!! Her book "Star Spangled Jesus" is a total winner....one of the best whistle-blower books on CNs ever......Her brother came out as being gay!!!
Totally appreciate your long posting........
The % of trans like .001.......live and let live....leave them the fc#k alone!!!
Agreed as to your last observation, and thank you for your kind words KH
Absolutely. When younger we always had the attitude to live and let live. Also. We minded our own business and tried to be kind and inclusive. I have and have had all kinds of friends. It is their heart that matters . Not who they love, worship, or their skin color.
Bingo, Protect the Vote!!!!!!!!
I prefer reading to watching. Especially when I have to actually listen to some of these fools speak.
I agree with you on the videos. I can't stand hearing the fools speak, especially the orange felon.
Personally, I prefer just to read updates, so don't need the video. Thanks for asking and for keeping us informed!
I like the written report. Thanks 😊
I do prefer the written over the video format, that way I can skim at my own pace.
Prefer this written style! I get more out of it
(Thanks!! I never watch video, only read and share immediately!!)
