Good evening and warm greetings from Germany. Today is a very sad day in Germany. In the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, an AfD politician was elected President of the State Parliament. I never would have thought that such a right-wing party could ever gain a majority in Germany. It is just like where you live: promises are made before the election that can never be kept. I urge all democrats to go out and vote so that no right-wing party can secure a majority. I am keeping you all in my prayers.

We need them. Thank you.

I hope the German people wake up more quickly than so many Americans have.

I was surprised by that outcome too.

Voting early and by mail where verification of receipt of ballot is available (Arizona) is something for which I am VERY grateful! Voter suppression and interference is the GOP playbook this election, and it appears to be escalating.

Karen Rivera's avatar

Next door to you in NM, my Secretary of State's website shows my ballot was mailed to me today. I can track it all the way through up to the point I drop it off at a polling site to watch it go into the receptacle. Not taking any chances this year. I'll let you know if ICE or any other Feds are hanging around when I drop it off.

M Apodaca's avatar

My local agency has informed me that my mail ballot has been counted. And I live in Florida! Tallahassee is a blue island.

Washington (state, not District of Corruption) ballots will arrive soon: just got the Voter's Pamphlet this week to study.

Ballot arrives, mark it, send it (or drop it in box), check website in a few days for receipt confirmation.

No time off work, no standing in line, no worries about water or going to jail for helping others, no crowd to give you pneumonic plague...and there's a paper record and chain of custody.

If voting by mail wasn't safe, Trump wouldn't do it EVERY TIME!

Melanie_Montero's avatar

We voted by mail in Palm Beach County and received notification that our ballots were received and counted

Lisanne's avatar

Who did you vote for? LOL just kidding.

Oaktown's avatar

Same here in CA, which is why I intend to vote by mail and not use a drop-off box. The only drawback to mailing it in now is the USPS SCOTUS ruling, so our Sec. of State says to put your ballot in the mail no later than 7 days prior to Election day to ensure it will be counted.

I’m in CA, as well, but in a rural area. I always drop mine off at the box at the County Election’s Dept since I live at the County seat.

What a mess! Thanks again for doing a great job in getting the truth out to us and the world on this evil regime. You do a terrific job, Ron.

What the fuck does “transgender for everyone “ actually mean?

Everyone changes sex. It’s like musical chairs or the hokey pokey or something, I guess.

A bunch of republicans in congress honestly should get "fixed" because they clearly have nothing worthwhile down there.

I'm still waiting for MAGA to define what "woke" actually means to them.

"Mackenzie: When refineries are blown up in Russia because of Ukraine that’s what really drives up those prices." Parroting Trump, are we? I guess Mackenzie hasn't gotten the memo that Trump is now radioactive.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

I'm not sure which ticks me off more, Mackenzie's BS gaslighting or the interviewer's failure to call him on it.

Old Man's avatar

Mac is an asshole, the interviewer a shithead. I'm saying the latter ticks off more

Nancy Endersby's avatar

I think at this point I am more irritated at the normalizing and not asking questions by media. It saddens me at the same time.

Alastair McLean's avatar

Yeah, but there isn't even any logic before that. The reason Russian refineries are being blown up is because Trump has done absolutely nothing to stop Putin. Just the opposite, with his odious son in law now doing dogy back-room oil deals while Putin sends missiles into civilian targets in Kyiv. If they (the Greedy Oligarchs and Pedos in general) were concerned about the price of diesel they would be sanctioning Russian to hell and back. But it's all BS anyway - that war has nothing to do with the price of diesel.

Oaktown's avatar

Or that he should be blaming Trump for both gas prices and Putin's war on Ukraine, which would be over by now if Trump hadn't been fully engaged in helping Putin and hurting Ukraine.

Sophia's avatar

That comment about SD and LA was outrageous and treasonous. And there’s just a big yawn by the media

Alastair McLean's avatar

That comment just proves he's an agent for bad actors. He wants to break up the USA. No one that cares about their country would ever say anything that outrageous.

And isn't San Deigo home to one of the pacific fleets? Those are more focused on China than ME issues. Pretty sure Iran would rather target Mango Lago in Florida.

"They can take out a city. Let them take, let them take out Los Angeles; let them take out San Diego. That’s — this is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over with very soon. It’s essentially almost over with." And of course Steven "Annoying Clown" Cheung said Trump's statement was taken out of context. Sure it was.

Sophia's avatar

He knew exactly what he was saying

Kevin Robbins's avatar

I love Stephanie Ruhle but I don’t see the sense of giving Tillis any oxygen. Can’t imagine who’s going to buy his book anyway, but still.

It’s great that he’s going to give Hegseth a bad review. The sooner he goes away the better.

Paul Kaufman's avatar

The sooner who goes away? Hegseth or Tillis?

Kevin Robbins's avatar

Yes. It’s like an Arya Stark list at this point.

I like the way you think, Kevin Robbins.

Trump's complaint that Fox isn't covering "the good old fashioned Republicans" is laughable, since he ran all the old fashioned ones out of the party.

“Pneumonic plague is only moderately transmissible.”

At last, some good news. 😅

Paul Kaufman's avatar

Maybe. Pneumonic plague killed 40% of Europeans during the middle ages and that was not weaponized. It’s pretty fucking transmissible.

Enricka Dillman's avatar

I think that was the bubonic plague, which is transmitted by flea bites.

Paul Kaufman's avatar

That’s correct. And pneumonic plague is much more contagious than bubonic plague. It spreads person to person through respiratory secretions similar to Covid although Covid is more contagious.

Oaktown's avatar

Especially if it's been weaponized.

LHS's avatar

You are correct. The waves of plague that spread through Europe were largely bubonic plague. But pneumonic plague is caused by the same bacterium, Yersinia Pestis, and it was also present in some locations. Pneumonic plague can be spread from person to person, unlike bubonic plague.

Alastair McLean's avatar

Even if it isn't all that transmissible it still kills almost 100% of people who catch it and don't receive treatment. It is transmitted by body fluids, so if you sneeze or cough on someone they could be at risk. The worry is, why are Russian spies involved in something that is a medical issue on the face of it. That is very suspicious. The 'anti-plague' institute sounds like a health agency for the benefit of the population, but when you think of who would support that kind of work, Putin doesn't immediately spring to mind.

Oaktown's avatar

Really? The guy who's poisoned people in the UK and elsewhere? Who does it bring to mind for you?

Alastair McLean's avatar

Sorry, my sarcasm got a bit tied up. I'm saying that institute is most likely a front for biological weapons research. Putin obviously doesn't give a shit about his population.

Oaktown's avatar

Thanks for clearing that up. Sarcasm doesn't always work on paper.

bLUEduRham's avatar

So only those claiming to be moderates need to worry.

My sincere condolences. It's a tidal wave of global fascism, led by our Silicon Valley tech billionaires and trillionaires. And while they race to rule the world with toxic hidden algorithms and Alien Intelligence LLMs commonly referred to as AGI, Germany and the US are clutching their pearls worrying about human immigrants, who require food and sleep—unlike Alien Intelligence, which never tires, works 24/7, and requires no food.

Don’t Have Your Registered Vote Be Vigilante Challenged

Investigative reporter Greg Palast in the fall 2026 issued a warning in his documentary Vigilantes Inc.: America's New Vote Suppression Hitmen. It revealed a fascist Republican ploy in Georgia to challenge registered voters ability to have their vote counted. It turns out that anyone in any state can challenge any registered voter to have their vote counted and not just one voter but a complete list of voters. According to Palast this was a fascist Republican trial run to see how this challenge could work and 2024 was won by 1.5m votes by Cheeto. By Palast’s work he figured that Harris would have won had it not been for vigilante challenges.

This also explains why Cheeto’s DOJ is actively working to get voter information to be able to disenfranchise voters all across the country. This effort failed much to Cheeto's angst but DOGE has gotten hold of voter information at the IRS and even though the courts have told them they cannot use the confiscated who can trust this fascist regime?

The answer is vote early and check if your vote has been counted and not challenged(bit.ly/4zfIPhS). Voting early allows one to cure the vote if one’s vote is challenged. People should be notified about challenges but this is a backup especially in states who turned over their voter rolls to the feds. Using the link can help prevent disenfranchisement. And tell your friends, neighbors, and family about voting early. Also consider joining a local Indivisible chapter or start your own to lend to the collective voice to GOTV on Oct 17th so there will not be close elections…no close elections with ass turnout will shut Cheeto up about rigged elections.
