I believe everyone around him, specifically Susie Wiles and probably JD Vance know he is fading.. there is no way anyone who saw that can ignore it.. the players behind the scene are evil, they are using a man moving into dementia for their own ambitions. But I also think they are trying to keep JD Vance away from the presidency as long as they can because they don’t trust him. I find him to be the most interesting character in this plot.. unfortunately the American people are suffering through these reality tv games they are all playing.
