I feel like these dip shits are looking into the mirror as they write these comments. They’re so deep in their cult nonsense to see the truth.

Do you feel secure in your leadership?

Do you support the deportation of dying American children that couldn’t continue their chemotherapy?

Do you support your leader taking your healthcare and telling you to make do with less while enriching himself and using your country to solicit bribes for personal gain?

Actually we have little power. We need to do jujitsu and co-opt Republicans.

.

Come senators, congressmen

Please heed the call

Don't stand in the doorway

Don't block up the hall

For he that gets hurt

Will be he who has stalled

The battle outside ragin'

Will soon shake your windows

And rattle your walls

For the times they are a-changin'

.

We have to be grateful that they are at each other's throats over budget reconciliation and take advantage of the situation. It oinly takes a few of them to get to the Jerry Weiss scenario. https://jerryweiss.substack.com/

Even the dominionist theocrat MAGAT Hawley R. Mo is warning;

“If Republicans want to be a working-class party — if we want to be a majority party — we must ignore calls to cut Medicaid and start delivering on America’s promise for America’s working people,” Hawley wrote.

The pressure on congressional Republicans must be ramped way up. Hypocrite Hawley feels the heat why doesn’t greedy Green? Or jackass Johnson? The pain is about to be very local to us all as it is for farmers and dockworkers and federal workers already. We must give MAGA off-ramps to our neighbors as the pain spreads and the cult hypnosis breaks

Thanks. All politics is local.

I live in a blue county in a red state that has rejected Medicaid expansion. As I said yesterday, must consider the ripple effect on medical providerrs and vendors. E.G. The highest rate of Obamacare use in the US of A. https://www.politico.com/story/2015/06/obamacare-hialeah-florida-enrollment-118578

The congressman for that area is MAGAT Mario Diaz Balart, whose brother Jose is a talking head on NBC, MSNBC, and Telemundo. His late older brother, Lincoln, was also a member of Congress. The law school at Florida International Univerrsity is the Diaz Balart School of Law. Despite the "international" aspect, FIU has been the subject of controversy regarding its partnership with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), specifically under the 287(g) program. This program allows local law enforcement officers, including FIU police officers, to enforce immigration laws, leading to concerns about potential deportations and visa revocations, particularly for international students.

Mario has sold his soul.

Mario's district has the highest saturation of Venezuelans in the country. As a Cuban American, he votes to support elimination of Cuban Humanitarian visas and votes to bar the more than 100,000 Cubans at the border.

The district also has many Canadian Americans and Hatian Americans.

Maybe if they picket, sit in, he'll see the light.

We have 2 more House members just like Mario.

Why do you think Mario ever had a soul? If he ever was once a genuine good person, is there anyway to tap into that?

There must be so much misery there in Florida. Generations probably fought and sacrificed to get him through school so he could get a seat at the table so that he could be a voice for the marginalized Venezuelan population. When he was elected his parents were probably so proud, bragged to everybody. Then he betrayed them all, all Venezuelans. His parents probably don’t talk about him anymore.

Cuban American.

Mario's aunt was married to Fidel Castro. His father was in the Batista government. Once upon a time, they were Democrats.

DeathSantis has recently deputized 80 some odd FHP as Marshalls so they can make deportation arrests on Florida Highways they patrol. I can't wait til this egotistical moron is out of office!

I live in Florida, too. "Baghdad by the sea" reminds me of Lauderdale by the Sea, where I lived for a while and my father lived more than half his life. I'm in Central Florida now. If you know of any protests in my area, feel free to (Please, actually) contact me and let me know.

I live in Missouri and I have no idea what is going on with Hawley. Maybe he's gotten somehow bought off by rural hospitals. Maybe he knows, like the two times Susan Collins voted against a trump idea that what he says will make no difference but he can win points with his constituents...but he does not need to win points..he just got reelected and didn't even have to campaign..his seat it that secure. So I just have no idea what is going on. Except maybe, and this is a pretty tiny maybe he knows that cutting Medicaid will not save much money (really, no study, even by the COB has been done to see how much persons who "shouldn't be on Medicaid..who ever they are. really use their Medicaid card, and if they are only using it for emergencies they will still go to the ER which will cost the states and local communities a whole lot more so there is little economic sense to cutting Medicaid). I don't know how long hearing will go on but we need to pressure the Dems to pressure the GOP for specific answers...just how many folks in your district or state will be cut off of Medicaid, how much money, based on what will be saved? This has nothing to do with caring if folks have basic health care with the GOP does not support, but just with economics...how much money will be saved if we stop trump's golfing weekends or business trips to Qatar?

Thanks for a verse from one of my favorite songs!!! I'm from Missouri and have no idea what is going on with Hawley..that is totally out of character for him. He does not have to do anything to appease his constituents....he didn't even have to campaign to win in 2024. I did just have a long discussion with someone from my other Senator's office regarding Medicaid...they were very non committal (we are looking into everything in the budget). We need to continue to put pressure on both GOP MOCs and the Dems (get more and more of them to get more and more vocal and get more of the hearings publicized so voters can see just what the GOP says and does, like they do not know or care what the Constitution says, they will never give a yes or no answer).

And they absolutely believe it. I had a business conversation yesterday with a business person I respect who is also in deep red country. We don't talk politics! At one point he stated in passing "...and Trump is bringing manufacturing back to the US..." and I almost fell off my chair.

My thoughts exactly. They are doing the same thing as Russia. Accusing others of whatever they are either about to do or already have done. Another thing, Trumpler will probably declare martial law so there won't be another election.

First he will attempt to guarantee the election outcome in some less-than-legal but not a pitchfork worthy way. When that fails he may opt for the nuclear option. It should never be allowed to get that far
