Facts don’t care about their feelings. Congrats to MeidasMighty! We all need to follow governor Phil Murphy’s example and shelter asylum seekers in our homes to protect them from fascists - perhaps Ben can interview him: https://democracydefender2025.substack.com/p/governor-phil-murphy-is-leading-by

How interesting that MAGAtts are going after states like NJ (blue) instead of the states that have the most immigrants, like Texas and Florida (red). Hmmm 🤔

Exactly I live here in Florida you’re right the most reddest and racist state. But they’re going after the blue states. I’m sick of these evil racist SOBS.

I’m so proud of my governor, I have a very small apartment or I would shelter someone too. I live in senior affordable housing, and I’m not permitted to have anyone stay with me.

Sadly, I think your instincts are correct about the FBI under this administration. When we can’t be confident of law enforcement’s integrity, we really are living in a police state. We will survive. It may take time.

Apparently, many of the dedicated FBI agents will be losing their jobs. They might be looking for opportunities elsewhere. Just a thought

It's important that we feel confident in our small, local police departments- if we can. I continue to believe there are many wonderful officers out there and that they will do their jobs.

Why would you think you still have law and order when you allow a convicted felon to be unlawfully and unconstitutionally sworn in by a chief SCOTUS who himself violated his own Oath to uphold the Constitution?

If you have floor room for even one sleeping bag, you can shelter one person. To that person, you are the world. I fear we are soon coming to that state of affairs.

Of course. But not if you're in the kind of housing that makes rules about not having people to stay :-(

For those who can afford it, move up to being a founder of MTN. I honestly can and have done it. For those that live day to day.......access to MTN will always be there for them.

Making phone calls...writting the letters.....doing their part in the worldwide resistance growing every minute.

:-) yes, I was lucky enough (& grateful) to have worked extra hours to become a paid subscriber . I am now doing this again as opportunities arise at work & home to become a founding member. I've been watching/listening to them since shortly after them beginning & I am so grateful for their time, energy, hopefulness, kindness, etc. We are in this together !

Yes because they are different from what Trump has told them and they have no rational way of dealing with it.

You have disagreed with them and that is not allowed.

Till they come to the conclusion on their own that Trump is broken things will never change.

I fear they will not come to the conclusion that Trump is broken until it hits them in the pocketbook, i.e, major changes in Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, no college scholarships for kids, and food prices out the roof.
