I’m right there with you on this. I’ve lost 2 children in this life time and my heart just breaks for those families. And for the family members that died. Empathy is something everyone should have. Tears were streaming down my face also I’ve found myself saying,” I’m sorry sweetheart to the pictures I’ve seen of some children”. It’s all so very wrong.

Connie: Just remember your son as though he is still here, because he is. Not in the physical sense, but as a child that you gave birth to, that you raised and loved. That love never goes away. We can talk to the children that we lost, we can feel their presence and we know that they hear us. I believe that they, also, guide us when we need it. When I can't find something that I am looking for, I ask my son to show me where it is and sure enough I find it. He has never failed me and I thank him daily for being a part of my life. For allowing me to be his mother and I never stop saying "I love you." The worst thing that can happen to a parent is to lose a child and that is why we have to pray for those that have.
