I agree with a lot of talking heads that trump being so bad and so fast is actually a good thing for the 2026 election. Let him be simply awful and let the American people who voted for him see the reality. Let them feel the pain of no migrants to work in agriculture, restaurants closing because they have no workers, people needing home health care doing without, tax benefits for the rich but the taking away of state and local tax deductions, much higher inflation and unemployment. The loser phrase "shock & awe" may be what trump feels as his ratings dip and those House & Senate members who are up for re-election in 2026 hear from their constituents that they're very unhappy, frightened, suffering economically. But in the meantime, what do we do? Passivity is not my thing.
