It has been a catastrophic day for Donald Trump, perhaps the worst of his presidency. The Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee released a trove of emails between Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as exchanges between Epstein and journalist Michael Wolff. These documents draw a direct line between Epstein and Trump, revealing conduct that is abhorrent and impossible to ignore.
In one 2011 email, Epstein told Maxwell that Trump had “spent hours at my house,” “knew about the girls,” and that Trump was “that dog that hasn’t barked.” Maxwell replied, “I have been thinking about that.” The significance of this cannot be overstated. This correspondence predates Trump’s political career, undercutting any claim that these exchanges were politically motivated. Epstein, long before Trump’s campaign, was making clear that Trump was no innocent bystander.
Despite this explosive revelation, the Trump regime spent the day as though nothing had happened, offering an unsettling glimpse into an administration that operates with impunity while the American people suffer. Tariffs championed by Trump have driven consumer prices sky-high, forcing major brands to scale back Black Friday discounts and raising the cost of essential goods like coffee. Treasury Secretary Scott Bezzant, in a desperate attempt to spin the damage, floated the idea of “tariff relief,” stunning admission that Trump’s own policies are strangling the economy.
Meanwhile, auto loan delinquencies have hit record highs among working-class Americans, and more than half of employed people now fear losing their jobs. Affordability has vanished, but Trump insists, against all evidence, that the nation is thriving. “Donald Trump is making the American people suffer,” I said earlier today. “Donald Trump is starving the American people to death.”
Even his own supporters are beginning to recoil. During a Fox News appearance, Trump claimed Americans are too stupid for high-skilled jobs and that universities need hundreds of thousands of Chinese students to fill seats. That comment, more than any, shattered the illusion for many MAGA loyalists who now see Trump’s contempt for the very people he claims to champion.
More footage also leaked from Trump’s Oval Office meeting with the leader of Syria, a man who once led an al-Qaeda faction and reportedly had a multimillion-dollar bounty on his head. Trump sprayed him with “Trump Cologne” and joked about how many wives he had.
And all the while, real atrocities continue under his watch. Leaked footage from an ICE detention center near Houston shows hundreds of men and women crammed into a freezing cell, denied beds and dignity. Abroad, U.S. forces under Trump’s orders have launched unprovoked strikes on fishing vessels in the Caribbean and Pacific, killing civilians, actions so egregious that the United Kingdom has suspended intelligence sharing with the United States, and France, too, is sounding the alarm.
As I said on-air, “America is currently engaged in war crimes, directed by Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth. They should be held accountable before a war crimes tribunal.”

OK, back to Trump’s catastrophic day.
The Trump regime’s attempt to move on from this morning’s Epstein bombshell quickly turned into utter panic at the White House. AG Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, Deputy AG Todd Blanche, and others, are holding an emergency meeting today on the Epstein Files as the discharge vote nears. Rep. Boebert, one of the ‘yes’ votes on the discharge petition. will reportedly be there. Trump spent the morning frantically trying to call both Boebert and Rep. Nancy Mace to try to get them to flip their votes. There is an all hands on deck effort from the White House to try to prevent this vote from taking place.
Trump then took to his Truth Social app, once again referring to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes against young children as “the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” and threatened Republicans, demanding they continue to work to hide the files.
He. Is. Spiraling.
What we are witnessing is not a government of laws but a syndicate of cruelty and corruption, one that enriches itself while dismantling the economy, shaming its people, and aligning with war criminals and pedophiles. Trump’s approval has cratered to 33 percent, according to the latest AP-NORC poll, with support among independents dropping to just 25 percent.
A year ago, The Wall Street Journal declared that the next president would “inherit a remarkable economy.” Trump could have simply maintained stability. Instead, he has set the nation ablaze, economically, morally, and diplomatically.
The emails released today confirm what many of us have long known: the rot runs deep. But exposure is only the first step. Accountability must follow. The truth is out, more is on the way, and now, it’s up to us to ensure it leads somewhere.
