VERY IMPORTANT Meidas Labor DAY MESSAGE…
By Ben Meiselas
It’s Labor Day. Democracy Summer draws to a close. We’ve been through a lot together this summer. From the No Kings Protests to Trump’s Epstein Cover Up to ICE raids to Trump’s disaster tariffs and his awful foreign policy. Let’s take stock of what we accomplished and that we are still here fighting. Let’s reflect on the importance of Labor Day as Trump tries to destroy the power of labor. Let’s get ready for the fight ahead.
Let me pause briefly to remind you to subscribe to this Substack now. This Substack has been the best help for MeidasTouch Network to grow. I’m sure you’ve read all the headlines about Meidas beating Fox and Joe Rogan and Hannity and every cable news network in views and engagement this summer. It’s all true, but it’s all because of you and this Substack. If you like the work Meidas is doing, please subscribe now. Thanks.
Back to the post. Reflecting on this summer, Trump was convinced we’d be gone. He was positive he would crush his opposition and resistance. He has failed. More importantly, where the heck is he? He’s been suspiciously away from the cameras and the media since last Wednesday. He has posted old golf photos from two weeks ago and last month and has claimed they were from this weekend. Just as we made the Epstein files the center of our coverage for many years, we’ve focused on Trump’s apparent severe cognitive and physical issues at the center of our coverage as well. We were criticized by corporate news and others for focusing on this. It was the right thing to cover, and we’ve been vindicated for covering it. I don’t care what corporate news is covering now since we get more views than them anyway. In short, the resistance is stronger than ever. Trump appears to be deeply unwell. I’m proud of you.
Next, let’s chat Labor Day. MeidasTouch is relentlessly fighting for the labor movement. I make it a priority to bring union leaders on my program. I featured AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler’s State of Unions speech in a live breaking news segment last week. Corporate news rarely covers these speeches and the fights of the labor movement. This is why I’ve made it one of my biggest priorities to highlight the work being done by labor and the messages from labor leaders while calling out the harm to labor by Trump. We need to empower labor leaders and unions and always champion workers.
Lastly, where do we go from here? This week we will cover the Epstein and Ghislaine victims speaking out on Capitol Hill. Make sure to watch our stream. We will have the leaders of MoveOn, Indivisible, and 50501 on Meidas to announce the next peaceful protests, which will be bigger than No Kings. We will keep building the fiercest resistance in the history of the United States. Meidas will be the main news network for it, and we will use our position to continue to be a positive and unifying force. I want you to be prepared for the most intense and strongest opposition movement you’ve ever seen or read about. It’s happening, and it starts now.
I appreciate the messages you sent me yesterday about the threats we face. You sent some publicly and others privately. Yes, I understand the threats to our lives and our safety and that of our family. We take all steps we can. We try. But they will never be enough, I know. Thanks to you, we created a movement that lives on if something happens to me or my brothers. This is not about me. This is never centered around me. This is about you. You hold the power, and you’ve built this network to be bigger and more impactful than all the corporate networks.
Of course, your help is appreciated and it’s needed. The bigger we grow, the more impact we have. That’s why I always say that your subscriptions to this Substack are so critical and helpful. It’s been such a game changer in allowing us to expand our team and build the infrastructure to beat cable news and take down Hannity and Rogan. We will keep fighting for you every day.
Please subscribe now to this Substack if you can.
Enjoy this Labor Day. Rest up. Check out the MeidasTouch YouTube channel every 90 minutes or so for new content.
I will be thinking of you today and how grateful I am — and we are at the MeidasTouch Network — for all that you do.

Ben, this one hits home. Labor Day isn’t just about honoring work. It’s about remembering who really built this country and who still carries it on their backs. From the mines and mills of the last century to the renewable energy workers fighting for our future now, labor has always been America’s engine. That’s why Trump’s war on unions and wages is really nothing more than a war on democracy itself.
Thank you for putting labor at the center of this fight. It reminds me that solidarity isn’t nostalgia. It’s survival. For anyone interested in more reflections connecting past struggles to today, I try to do the same at www.xplisset.com.
Meidas is genius. The coverage of deplorables where nothing needs to be said, is genius. Ben just rolls the tape and without commentary, so he lets you the viewer decide. Minimizing bias is a laudable thing especially in today’s echo chamber environment.
