50 years ago, I worked as a news reporter in radio and television--a mid-size market. I recall the UPI and Associated Press printers running constantly in a side room. And I looked at the two local dailies as well each day. We would FEED off each other, seeing what others were covering...then spin it for a radio audience. My point: Meidas has become critical to corporate, legacy news outlets, setting the bar for coverage and potentially determining what the big boys actually cover. You are so very important. Not just to the news profession...to the nation. THANK YOU!!

A decade later, my sister-in-law was at the AP, national editor. I learned a lot about the inside.
AP does a lot of verification and tests sources by Fire before adding their name. It's FAR better than the NYT these days, the Times has sunk so, so far! (NTM, WAPO and LAT)
Meidas impresses me.. I use them as a parallel source for reporting... Not disappointed yet. It's great to have them to add perspective to what passes (barely) as news these days
Stopped watching CNN when they moved Jim Acosta and gave him no choice but to leave. That was done to please Trump and the regime. Now, they want people to pay for watching their online page while they still have a ton crap of advertisements splattered throughout and kill stories that put trump in an unflattering light. No thank you. I will never hate a media outlet as much as the propaganda machine fox, but I feel betrayed by CNN, CBS and a few others. I am grateful I have Ben and his team that I can watch. Not only do I get the scoop, but I get a legal analysis explained with each horrific story. We are winning this fight because of this channel and others like it. Thank you!
Betrayed and for me saddened.. as many, I grew up with network news and trusted them and to have that trust taken away is hard to adjust to....but not so hard with MTN that has such better coverage...network news always only had a half hour or hour to cover many stories, and not always just politics so their coverage was always a little light compared to what MTN does. And wow is the legal coverage from MTN outstanding...the both bring receipts and while reading from the actual court documents provide translation into non-legalese and this is really helpful for me. It is very sad that network news choses to not fact check trump and to gloss over things like his call for execution of American citizens who are only stating the law... military personnel must not follow illegal orders. Saying they committed murder of innocent persons because they were ordered to by trump does not get them off the hook for murder. As always, many thanks to MTN for continuing to report the truth and all the truth and for not letting stories die.
