Even hitler took three months to consolidate his power but he did not have an army of people pissed off many of them his own supporters. One illegal act after another then has the cheek to criticise honest people who only doing there job to weed out corruption by prosecuting him. Pressure on supreme court by public duty before are eliminated as having any power. They must remove his immunity and he can no longer smugly laugh at the judiciary he ignores with his mafia style antics believing will never be punished. 1. The other day I posted that the US and El Salvador have an extradition treaty and that SCOTUS could have issued a writ of mandamus to Trump/Rubio to extradite him -- but didn't.

I don't know whether the judge was asked to enter an order of mandamus.

A writ of mandamus is a court order compelling a lower court, government official, or agency to perform a specific act that they are legally obligated to do. It's used when there's no other adequate legal remedy to force compliance with a clear legal duty. In essence, it's a way to ensure that those in authority follow the law and fulfill their official duties.

2. Yesterday, Cody Balmer, Harrisburg, Pa celebrated Passover by firebombing his Jewish governor. Passover is the holiday that Jews comemorate freedom from slavery.

THAT SHOULD BE BIG NEWS.

Maybe while discussing the attempted genocide in Israel? All Hamas needs to do to end this nightmare is to release the hostages, living and dead. For nearly 80 years now, every few years, Israel has been attacked by Muslims who want to push it into the sea. They have always lost. On Oct 7, Hamas invaded Israel, murdering 300 kids at a music festival, abducted 271, and then proceeded to move along the border, raping, torturing, and murdering over 1500 civilians. Hamas knew they could not begin to defeat Israel, but rightly believed they could manipulate the gullible public into supporting a radical Muslim terrorist organization. I think Netanyahu is an idiot. Like Trump, he did not receive the majority of the vote, but, for the past 20 years, Gazans have chosen Hamas to control their government. Sometimes you reap what you sow.

War sucks. That is why it is stupid to start one, just as it was stupid for Russia to invade Ukraine. Before withdrawing from Gaza in 2005, Israel built desalination plants, hospitals and schools in Gaza. Before Oct 7, 350,000 Gazans worked in Israel daily, making unimpeded trips across the border. I lived in a kibbutz that, at the time, was the last Israeli settlement before the border. We could not do the 5 minute walk to the Mediterranean to swim because kids had been shot doing so. We had to somehow go the 12 miles to Ashkelon where the IDF patrolled the beaches. We were not crossing into Gaza to randomly attack people there. Israeli Arabs were doing fine back then. There were Israeli Arabs all throughout the government, running businesses and sitting in the Knesset. From what I hear, all of that is gone now. I do not have an answer to this dilemma. I deeply regret the deaths in Gaza. However, as long as Gaza’s people elect a terrorist organization promising to extend Palestine from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean (all of Israel), I doubt there will be peace. BTW, I am neither Jewish nor Israeli. I am a Roman Catholic who, back in the early 70’s, was studying Biblical history. I spent a year hitchhiking around Europe and a trip to Israel seemed logical.

I still strongly believe that if you don’t want a war, don’t start one. You never answered my question about our response to Pearl Harbor. Ok, Beacons of truth and all that. Yup, really important that we know what is actually happening and you are doing that job well. Thanks very much. But, but, just knowing just showing up to protests that are otherwise unfocused has no actual power to move the needle. I would go so far as to say that Trump actually gets off on it. He loves it when we are out there protesting in our thousands and it has absolutely no effect on him. This is the demonstration of power that he craves.

So Instead of more of that let's talk about a plan. Let's make our protesting more purposeful. Senator E. Warren and others just introduced a bill in congress saying that there is and was no emergency of any sort. Therefore the assumption of emergency powers to set Tariffs from the executive branch is illegal and cannot be done. The sponsors of this bill need several, not many, but several representatives in both houses to cross the line and vote for this bill. This is a clear opportunity to make our protests focused. Let's not just protest in town somewhere. Let's not have random signs saying whatever. Let's focus and protest outside congressional offices. Let's tell them specifically that they must vote for this bill OR Simply they will be out of a job. Let's tell them that the biggest threat to their future is not being primaried by Musk it is being voted out by us because they didn't protect constitutional law and sacrificed the power of their office to a dictator.

Yeah let's do that.

And Ben you do say that you read all the posts. So what do you think? How about having Senator E. Warren back on and have her comment on focused protests. How about getting Senator B. Sanders to comment. How about using your platform to get specific and actually do stuff.? OR, if you really think I'm off the wall and or you have another plan let me know and I would love to get behind it because I really do think you are doing great work. I just don't understand the long or short term plan.
