Whoa, Cindy! Have you been to Canada during the part of the year they mistakingly call summer? It is like early spring weather. The bugs and mosquitoes are capable of sending you for a blood transfusion. My wife and I had to run through the forest. One couple was enjoying lunch in bee keeper outfits. Canadians are fine. The beer is good.
Michael Krieg, LOL, do your due diligence about where you're going. Spring is the worst time for mosquitoes, they start to recede when it gets really hot. And they LOVE humans that camp in the forests, easy pickings! You must always use bug spray if you're there during mosquito season. They are relentless, as you now know. Oh, and always wear light colours, never black. Or is the other way around? LOL it's been a while, I'm Canadian and learned that lesson a long time ago :)

Alaska is another place where a cloud of mosquitoes can literally drive a person (or an antelope or a moose) insane
