YES!!!! You did it, Meidas Mighty! You ruined Donald Trump’s birthday. His dictator parade was a disaster!!!
He promised 250,000 people would show up to DC. Less than 10,000 people attended his low-energy, bizarre parade.
Meanwhile, between 5–10 million Americans participated in the No Kings Protests to stand up against the Trump regime.
Trump was miserable yesterday. He was sitting there inconsolable on the stage like he was about to cry.
Meanwhile, the joy that was shared at the peaceful No Kings Protests was contagious.
Here is a photo of Trump on stage yesterday. I posted a video on YouTube where I covered Trump’s disastrous dictator parade.
When you think about your subscriptions to the MeidasTouch Substack, I want you to feel that our promises made have been promises we’ve kept.
First, since January, I’ve been talking about “Democracy Summer,” when Americans would engage in the largest peaceful mass demonstrations in American history. We saw that yesterday. And here’s the thing—I still think we are just getting started. Yesterday’s protests were massive, but I think it’s still just the appetizer of what’s to come.
Second, I made you the promise that we would use all of the resources at the MeidasTouch Network to amplify the peaceful protests since we knew the corporate news would try to suppress the protest coverage. Get this: in the past 48 hours, the MeidasTouch Network YouTube channel has received 24 million views of our protest coverage on YouTube. That’s right—24 million views. As promised, we have used the reach and power of the network to connect the movement to the media to the people.
None of this is possible without you.
Yesterday, the world got to see millions of Americans take to the streets to protest the authoritarian Trump regime. The world got to see that a free press made up of independent news media led by the MeidasTouch Network exists.
The world got to see the America it thought it knew. I felt hope. I saw joy. There was light at the end of the tunnel.
While we should all reflect on what an accomplishment yesterday was, we must now look to the future.
We must grow these protests bigger. We must build the resistance stronger. We must accelerate the reach, and scope, and scale of the MeidasTouch Network.
We are hard at work here at the network to continue meeting the moment and delivering the results we promised you.
So, Meidas Mighty—we humbly ask that we build off the momentum from yesterday and that you subscribe to the MeidasTouch Network today.
If you feel we have delivered on our promises as a network, we ask that you subscribe to this Substack now.
This is my first Father’s Day as a dad. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. If you are already a subscriber to this Substack and you need a last-minute Father’s Day gift, you can gift a subscription to the MeidasTouch Substack to someone you know now.
Since we have grown with zero investors, your subscriptions have been the key driver to our growth and the results you saw yesterday—and every day.
Thanks for all you do for our democracy, and thanks for being visible and standing up for others and for our democracy.
Happy Father’s Day.
We all need to make the billionaires that support Trump regret their misguided decision by hitting them in the pocketbook. Only buy what you need to live and stop buying things you don’t need. Trump’s big beautiful bill is going to make them more wealthy while taking away from the people who need it to survive. We have to stop feeding the rich!
And I’m so glad it didn’t rain in DC so they couldn’t blame the poor attendance on weather!
