Thank you for your kind words Thomas. We kiwis are not isolated from global shifts ,most of us are horrified at what is happening and feel deeply for American folk. Yes, there are elements of MAGA in New Zealand but fortunately for us it’s a small percentage.

At some point this dystopian nightmare will explode. That’s when reaching out will matter even more .
Thank you for your sympathy, Ann. We certainly need it. (Don't mean to get greedy!) I've always been proud to be an American until this Dictator Criminal Deranged Dingbat Psycho stepped back into the Oval Office. The first time was bad enough but even then I wasn't terrified like I am now. Please don't give up on us! We know he and his cronies are s**ts and we're doing what we can to save our country......and restore our friendship, support, and good will with our allies. Hopefully we won't be totally under the Dump's dictatorship and make it to the mid-term elections (2026). If Democrats win the majority in both houses, the Dump just might be impeached, convicted, and sent to prison for the rest of his life. What a blessing that would be for everyone (especially for us)!

I imagine it must be like waking up to a nightmare everyday .
There does seem to be an increasingly large ground swell of resistance evolving so keep hope alive . Kiha Kaha Jean.
