We will not retract it but we will double down…

We will not retract any of the statements made on last night’s show. I said what I said, and I stand by it because it’s the truth.
Trump is a sexual abuser. No retraction there. Trump is a criminal. No retraction there. Trump is a fraud. No retraction there. Trump is a felon. No retraction there.
The theme of our episode last night was moral clarity. We need to speak clearly and directly about Trump’s conduct. We need to make sure our coverage is rooted in enduring principles and values. We need to make sure we don’t “both sides” the issues when it comes to objective truths. We need to speak and deliver news with moral clarity.
I understand that the Trump regime wants us to retract numerous statements from last night’s show when I called Trump a criminal and a sexual abuser.
They can threaten us with lawsuits or have their MAGA base leave threatening messages.
It’s not going to work on us. We will double down on our coverage and ensure we are holding the regime accountable.
Yesterday was one of the most disgraceful days yet of this dumpster presidency, and that’s saying a lot.
Trump, RFK Jr., and Dr. Oz were in the Oval Office demanding pregnant women not take Tylenol, which they claim causes autism. This is a lie. Trump claimed that Cubans and the Amish don’t have autism. Another lie. Trump then provided his own dangerous and clearly erroneous “feelings” around the Hepatitis B vaccine and the MMRV vaccine, which, if implemented, would cause mass casualties. Trump then said he was reducing prescription drug prices by 1,000 percent, which is false and not possible.
The behavior by this deranged regime is humiliating.
No doubt, Trump’s appearance before the UN today will be yet another stain on our nation. We will be covering it all. There is nothing the Trump regime can do that will intimidate us into silence or cause us to soften our conduct. We will do all that’s in our power to expand our coverage and research capabilities.

How someone can listen to this guy when he clearly says he doesn’t want to be careful with what he says. How you can turn to him to solve problems when he says he couldn’t care less. And people still think he’s wonderful. Don’t retract a thing Ben, what you write and say is true.
