1) The TrumpPutinMusk-hacked 2024 election-culminating decades-long, worldwide, subversive rightwing plotting-signals the end of Western democracy and shifts the world’s balance of power into the hands of depraved and cruel, morally bankrupt, greedy, power-hungry barbarians.
2) If the world’s democracy-loving peoples are to survive & triumph over this anti-democracy, oligarchic, totalitarian power grab, we must look to America’s courageous Founders for guidance in successfully organizing resistance, re-asserting independence & re-establishing democratic government.
3) We must re-enact America’s founding dynamics:
• Draft a 21st century Declaration of Independence from the Putin-Trump, etc. anti-democracy tyranny.
• Convene a 21st Century Constitutional Convention, modeled on the first, to affirm a pro-democracy, pro-human rights Constitution.
4) After almost 250 years, we must revive & usher in a reinvigorated age of Enlightenment for democracy-loving peoples to assert and ensure universal human rights that safeguard life, liberty, equality and pursuit of happiness for all people under government of, by and for all people.
Right now, there's no way to get a consensus to do this, much less to come up with agreed upon, 21st century solutions. We are too divided. This has been designed and cultivated for 40+ years, with all critical levers of power now residing in one party. I don't see hope for a united America as currently configured
I am suggesting we, democracy-lovers, independently emulate America's Founders, who courageously, independently, resisted and drafted and proposed long before arriving at any consensus and/or uniting the American colonies.
