Carlo Versano is an idiot, trying to do 'both sides.' He's their 'news editor.' Condescending muckraker.

Make sure you write to them snd tell them and others WHY you unfollowed. Otherwise they don’t chalk it up to their bad behavior and figuratively assume you are going on vacation for a month.

That's a thought. I'd personally give them nothing. Why? Because silence [is] an answer! Let them try to figure out why their readership is shrinking!!!

Agree. Blinded by a lust for wealth and power they’re following an orange Pied Piper. He’ll sacrifice anyone the instant he’s threatened. Not one member of his inner circle is safe.

Every time TSHFT Dump blames “other people.” His behavior is cowardly and predictable. We know he will never take responsibility for screwing up. “I don’t know anything about [Project 2025], “ he said. Now Mike Johnson “Doesn’t know anything about Dump’s Bribery Buffet where he sold America to the highest crypto purchaser.

Considering his penchant for pimping people has always been on the front lines perhaps it’s time for Moronia to assess her current situation with a Plan B—just in case he wakes up and decides to put her lying a** on the stroll.

You know Ed and SP's, I just cant wrap my mind around:

"Lust for greed & power." Never could. I mean OK, once you achieve the wealth and power and you are say...the richest person in the world & you literally can do anything. Why go on to destroy everything that has gotten you this wealth?

I mean dude, if I had that kind of dough...just for kicks I'd give all the people who lost their homes in "insert climate disaster here" the money to get back on their feet. Or Shit.. fix up schools, maybe feed some people, How about making sure firefighters have all the equipment they need to protect themselves and their communities. There is just so much good you can do with that kind of cash and connections. I mean seriously, just how many expensive purses do you need to fill that yawning chasm that your soul used to live in?

And let say they achieve their apparent goals...bankrupt and isolate our country and the people who live in it. Who do they think will buy any of their products?

My God...I just don't get it.

Time to self medicate...A think a six pack will fix my morning musings.

Stay safe out their SP'S, You never know when a loony in a limo, full of gold bars will plow through a crowd for kicks....OMG may it's a two six pack kind o' morning.

Greed and ego are never satisfied. That’s the “answer” to the plethora of evil we deal with daily. How sad for America that it’s HQ’d in the White House.

Have you considered deleting your Facebook account? It was very hard for me to do that but I could no longer support a company that is tracking and selling all my information as well contributing to the destruction of our democracy. I have also deleted my google and Amazon accounts for the same reason. I am making more deliberate decisions about where and how I spend my money as my way of fighting back. Thanks for listening.

Yes, I definitely have! I don’t use Amazon and have never been an Amazon fan, but I use Facebook for many different reasons and to maintain so many connections, it’s going to be hard to give it up!

Isn’t Newsweek owned by WAPO?

Bluesmurf's avatar

No. Newsweek is owned by The Graham Holdings company and IBT Media. The Graham Holdings Company is an investment group with Newsweek as part of their portfolio, so I'm thinking that IBT Media is actually running it.

IBT media is a global digital news organization that owns and operates several news brands, including International Business Times, Newsweek, Medical Daily, and Latin Times. It is based in New York City and provides news, business analysis, and insights to a global audience. Ownership: IBT Media is owned by a group of individuals, including followers of religious leader David Jang, and co-founders Etienne Uzac and Johnathan Davis.

I did not see Bezos anywhere listed in my research!

Thanks. AI shows me they used to own it:

“Yes, The Washington Post Co. owned Newsweek magazine for a significant period, specifically from 1961 to 2010”
