How about Canada invite the New England states and maybe more to join and be their next province(s)? I'm not kidding, although the law doesn't allow secession. However, if elon/trump are lawless, why not us? If the elon era is going to last long, our country will be unrecognizable and I'll be doing what a branch of my family didn't do in the 1930s in Austria. We could fight from the outside.

The counterbalance of the states is the last resistance to Trump. If blue and honorful red states work together, they can hopefully stop the great dictator in WH.
