I empathize with you Nancy. Itās taken me 4 weeks to finally figure out how to upgrade. Iām 78 and force myself each day to learn how to use this āblastedā technology. Here goes:
I went to my emails account, found each substack by name, clicked onto the nameā¦say Mideas or zeteo etc. Go down the email til you see UPGRADE Subscription

You click on Upgradeā¦and āmiracle of miraclesā, you CAN then change and Upgradeā¦ youāre given choices usually 3, choose ā¦next you provide ā¦credit card details or do PayPal, then you get Approved and Confirmation
