I am of the opinion to leave Biden alone as Trump is doing far worse than him if he was in decline. Under Biden we had rights, the administration let the judicial system do their job, separate from influence from the executive branch, and the economy was doing extremely well. Trump and his administration are, in what might to some people seem an extreme opinion, “a coup”. The definition of coup, sudden (done within 100 days of power), violent (sending innocents to jails or confinement without due process), and unlawful overtaking of a government (not following the rule of law or letting the judicial system do their jobs and, as well, threatening legislators with primaring them). Again, JMO (layperson w/o any legal knowledge just common sense)
Very well reasoned comment. Yes, even with Biden in decline, Americans WERE in a more stable place, but not because of Biden. As you point out, it was due to the team around him. However, that same team is responsible for the lies and cover-ups that most certainly contributed to Trump's win.
I agree Dik. We were better off, the world was better off, under Biden's capable team that we could ever be under Trump. But let's be honest: Biden was in decline. He should not have run again. It is honest, and genuine to be upset with his handlers for promoting him. It well may have given us Trump. It is not disloyal to Biden to name this reality or express it as an opinon.
