Exactly! And then there was the horrible AGEISM. The only thing that interested them was Biden's age, which they used to constantly suggest that he may have reduced cognitive abilities, whereas on the one hand, he had PHYSICAL disabilities (spinal arthritis and his speech impairment was back, in part), and on the other hand, his entire record proved that he was VERY capable of truly governing as an intelligent, hard-working president with a moral spine of steel.
And unfortunately, quite some progressives are now into ageism too... imagining that all the highly experienced, older Reps and Senators and leaders (whose experience we VITALLY need in times like these) would somehow be no longer needed, only because of their age...
The ageism was even more ridiculous because dump is only 4 years younger and absolutely has and had mental decline. He was never able to speak or write a complete sentence even as a younger man. Now, he's ceded his presidency to Musk the Nazi so that they can make big bucks from our tax dollars! Donnie is off playing golf! Remember when he trashed Obama for a couple of golf games.
Well, I'm a boomer myself. I haven't been physically protesting because I'm disabled and am not ready to put my body on the front lines....yet. But I will if I have to. Friends who have gone to protests have reported the same. The thing is, our generation is on our way out. If younger folks don't wake up and give a damn, they won't have anything left. Honestly, that's on them. My daughter is not having children. I don't have to protect a legacy. I'll find ways to fight however I can. But younger folks will get what they deserve. And it looks like it will not be pretty
