Don't hold your breath. The GQP are perfectly fine with letting innocent men, women and children die in order to fund tax breaks for billionaires.

They, The GOP and trump, need to be exposed. If there is anyone out there who is in this admin and doesn't like what they are doing, you need to speak out! NOW before your name will be dragged through the mud too!

Where I live, immigration is important because we have 3 Republican Cuban American House members who represent majority Dems. 50% of the population is Hispanic.

Here's the news today. A Miami Republican who co-founded the group Latinas for Trump is condemning President Donald Trump’s mass-deportation campaign and blasting recent immigration enforcement actions as harmful. “This is not what we voted for,” State Sen. Ileana Garcia said in a statement on Saturday. “I have always supported Trump, through thick and thin. However, this is unacceptable and inhumane.”

If we can get those 3 to oppose the Big Beautiful bill, we might be able to stop all this stuff.

We need the Republicans opposed to tariffs, Ukraine policy, grift, national security policy, etc to focus. In red states like NC, MO he's defunded FEMA. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/josh-hawley-begs-trump-administration-fema-aid-missouri-1235343815/

We need Murkowski, Collins et al to stop it.

Thank you for sharing these articles. It is perhaps important that we have come to this crossroad. A sad but necessary evil needed to wake people out of their slumber.

Immigration has always been an important part of the United States economy. Not just in agricultural and manufacturing but in education and science. The contribution to the GDP of the country by immigrants is in the billions.

My primary issue with conservatives is they tend to lean on the "free market" and small government philosophy. They believe government should operate like a business. And cuts are necessary to weed out abuse and fraud. Unfortunately nothing could be farther from the truth.

For example, A business is a "for profit" enterprise. Government is not. But the main difference between the two is this. Businesses have to produce and sell a product. And once that product has saturated the market demand drops to zero. A business can either create a new product or close down. Also, many a business has gone bankrupt from fraud and abuse. Just look at the multiple bankruptcies the felon in the WH had.

On the other hand government is public service oriented. And it does not need to make a profit. But the main difference here is that demand for services always increases as the population grows. Our society needs more roads, parks, bridges, water, sewer, police, fire protection, schools, library's etc. To be sure having been a government worker myself there is some waste and abuse. For that look no further than the biggest budget line item of all the US military.

Bottom line is that you cannot cut your way to prosperity. Especially when the need never stops growing.

MAGATS aren't "conservatives" -- they're fascists.

Trump is robbing us -and "conservatives" - openly via extortion.

Thank you Daniel. Maggats are maggats. Not even Americans. They should be outcasts. They are not behaving as is expected by Americans.

Good grief, they are not behaving as expected for decent human beings. This is exactly how Hitler convinced a nation to do vile things.

They are Daniel, but alas they THINK they are just mainstream conservatives. That is what their electeds tell them.

"Conservatives will always be with us. If conservatives become convinced that they can not win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. The will reject democracy.”

I would add that t has shared this delusion with all of his mouth breathers. If he cannot get his way he would burn the entire US to the ground. And thanks to his minions he has a good head start.

I live in Florida. Not Canada but a high percentage of Canadian Americans here came here as "conservatives." Hundreds of thousands -- many with dual citizenship. Virtually ALL are pissed and oppose Trump after voting for him 3 times.

David Frum is a Canadian -- not part of the culture pattern. Most MAGATS have one issue -- racism.
