I believe it is very important that the protests must be peaceful. If there is no rioting in the streets, no arson, no looting, just peaceful protests and dignified demeanor on our part. The administration would not be able nor justified in using violence against us. I know it is a lot to ask, but this should make the administration look more foolish than they are now.

Immigration has always been an important part of the United States economy. Not just in agricultural and manufacturing but in education and science. The contribution to the GDP of the country by immigrants is in the billions.
My primary issue with conservatives is they tend to lean on the "free market" and small government philosophy. They believe government should operate like a business. And cuts are necessary to weed out abuse and fraud. Unfortunately nothing could be farther from the truth.
For example, A business is a "for profit" enterprise. Government is not. But the main difference between the two is this. Businesses have to produce and sell a product. And once that product has saturated the market demand drops to zero. A business can either create a new product or close down. Also, many a business has gone bankrupt from fraud and abuse. Just look at the multiple bankruptcies the felon in the WH had.
On the other hand government is public service oriented. And it does not need to make a profit. But the main difference here is that demand for services always increases as the population grows. Our society needs more roads, parks, bridges, water, sewer, police, fire protection, schools, library's etc. To be sure having been a government worker myself there is some waste and abuse. For that look no further than the biggest budget line item of all the US military.
Bottom line is that you cannot cut your way to prosperity. Especially when the need never stops growing.

Not in the way, not inciting the crowd, not doing anything wrong & the police aimed at them & fired. Police that do that, have zero self discipline & should not have a firearm of any type in their hands. They need disciplinary action taken against them by the department & legal action taken against them by their victims they unlawfully & purposefully injured.

Then if you see someone kicking off you can as a group tell them to quit it or you’ll report them to the police. If you elect a really smart progressive candidate it can be accomplished pretty easily. Though I can’t think of any candidate that would behave like trump again! What is clear is that 30% of the USA is disgruntled enough to support an obviously disastrous choice, in the faint hope some of his wealth will rub off on them. That cannot continue. Beefing up the education system, including free post secondary training and education for all, and national health care would do a LOT to stabilize the country.

I understand. I grew up in the suburbs of LA. Currently live farther out away from LA county in a mountain community. We had a scary fire in September and had to evacuate for 18 days with mutts and a senior cat. It was extremely difficult. No one is truly ready for a disaster, however during fire season we keep essential records ready to go in case. It’s a different way of life up here. Unfortunately my representative is a republican and does nothing to stand up to the felon(sorry I can’t say his name). During the LA fires he was partying with the felon at MaraLardo so we understand where his priorities are. Why people keep voting for him and other useless republican candidates is a mystery to me. He has a large constituency of seniors, low income families and obviously he doesn’t care. So it’s time to vote all republicans out of office.

Oh no chance of me not protesting! I've been to two protests in L.A. just since March - on a recovering broken foot stood no less - stood five hours to see Bernie and AOC. It was CATHARTIC. Went to DC in 2016 and, side note, came upon white nationalist RICHARD SPENCER and got him to admit he was a white supremacist immediately after he denied it. Then my image of him being punched made the viral round courtesy of someone lifting it from my footage. I will be out protesting this SATURDAY. Very loudly. And I will not stop protesting, toe or no toe. :) I am also posting ad nauseum everywhere I can - it's the least I can do to show unity - visibility/voice is the most important tool we have.

Immigration has always been an important part of the United States economy. Not just in agricultural and manufacturing but in education and science. The contribution to the GDP of the country by immigrants is in the billions.
My primary issue with conservatives is they tend to lean on the "free market" and small government philosophy. They believe government should operate like a business. And cuts are necessary to weed out abuse and fraud. Unfortunately nothing could be farther from the truth.
For example, A business is a "for profit" enterprise. Government is not. But the main difference between the two is this. Businesses have to produce and sell a product. And once that product has saturated the market demand drops to zero. A business can either create a new product or close down. Also, many a business has gone bankrupt from fraud and abuse. Just look at the multiple bankruptcies the felon in the WH had.
On the other hand government is public service oriented. And it does not need to make a profit. But the main difference here is that demand for services always increases as the population grows. Our society needs more roads, parks, bridges, water, sewer, police, fire protection, schools, library's etc. To be sure having been a government worker myself there is some waste and abuse. For that look no further than the biggest budget line item of all the US military.
Bottom line is that you cannot cut your way to prosperity. Especially when the need never stops growing.

A LAPD officer also shot a BBC reporter in the thigh with a 40mm rubber bullett. He felt it & realized something was sticking out of his posterior thigh & he was bleeding. He ended up in the hospital to have it removed, stop the bleeding & repair the damage done. These reporters were simply reporting. Not in the way, not inciting the crowd, not doing anything wrong & the police aimed at them & fired. Police that do that, have zero self discipline & should not have a firearm of any type in their hands. They need disciplinary action taken against them by the department & legal action taken against them by their victims they unlawfully & purposefully injured.

If you elect a really smart progressive candidate it can be accomplished pretty easily. Though I can’t think of any candidate that would behave like trump again! What you need is a younger version of Bernie Sanders. It doesn’t matter if it’s a man or a woman. My candidate would be Pete Butagge (I know I’ve spelt it wrong sorry Pete.) He’s got great ideas isn’t afraid to buck the norms of the party, speaks eloquently without being too “posh” about it and I think that being gay in this day and age isn’t a drawback like it was even 5 years ago! I don't think the country can move that far that fast. It is a long way from Donald to Pete....but I agree, the future is for community minded, plain speaking and likeable, trustworthy candidates who work hand in hand with their electorate, looking for free trade, democracy, peace and the prosperity that comes with that, and pushing for no more war anywhere. What is clear is that 30% of the USA is disgruntled enough to support an obviously disastrous choice, in the faint hope some of his wealth will rub off on them. That cannot continue. Beefing up the education system, including free post secondary training and education for all, and national health care would do a LOT to stabilize the country.

The dems should also offer free medical care from birth to death for everybody. We manage to do that here in the UK and we certainly aren’t as rich as the States! Which is good for the rest of us lol. I can’t see how they are going to handle the no more wars question. Security between countries has never been at such a low point than it is these days. Maybe being kinder to people from other countries and sharing each others values gradually will bring about change. Unfortunately their will always be warlords. I understand. I grew up in the suburbs of LA. Currently live farther out away from LA county in a mountain community. We had a scary fire in September and had to evacuate for 18 days with mutts and a senior cat. It was extremely difficult. No one is truly ready for a disaster, however during fire season we keep essential records ready to go in case. It’s a different way of life up here. Unfortunately my representative is a republican and does nothing to stand up to the felon(sorry I can’t say his name). During the LA fires he was partying with the felon at MaraLardo so we understand where his priorities are. Why people keep voting for him and other useless republican candidates is a mystery to me. He has a large constituency of seniors, low income families and obviously he doesn’t care. So it’s time to vote all republicans out of office.

Oh no chance of me not protesting! I've been to two protests in L.A. just since March - on a recovering broken foot stood no less - stood five hours to see Bernie and AOC. It was CATHARTIC. Went to DC in 2016 and, side note, came upon white nationalist RICHARD SPENCER and got him to admit he was a white supremacist immediately after he denied it. Then my image of him being punched made the viral round courtesy of someone lifting it from my footage. I will be out protesting this SATURDAY. Very loudly. And I will not stop protesting, toe or no toe. :) I am also posting ad nauseum everywhere I can - it's the least I can do to show unity - visibility/voice is the most important tool we have.
