Sesame Street is still a wonderful show for all ages. Even Oscar the Grouch has more humanity than donnie-two-dolls.

Wow, I haven’t watched Sesame Street in ages. 😅 PBS, would have Sesame Street and The Electric Company on. Morgan Freeman was on The Electric Company when I was in H.S. Needless to say, I’m 66 years young now. I guess being a Baby Boomer is not so bad. ☮️

After School Specials, LaVar Burton (?) and Reading Rainbow, the cartoon series about conjuctions, the Constitution, etc. etc. So much PBS does/did to help educate ourselves and our children. A big step up from Captain Kangaroo and Howdy Doody.

Going after Kermit is part of the GOP's defunding PBS and broad scope childhood/ pre-school education. To stop the joy of learning.

So sad. I was in the first generation (now 54) to have Sesame St and the Muppets. Loved the primetime Muppets Show too... esp Beeker & the Swedish Chef

This article about Kermit’s speech made me cry. I began watching Sesame Street in 1971 when I was 21 and my oldest daughter was two years old. I watched it through 2 more daughters and a daycare home until the late 80s. Best show ever.

Yeah!! I remembered watching it. And Zoom, (not the app) a television show right after Electric Company. Yup!! I'm 61 young. ☮️✌️

Thank goodness we got to enjoy those shows on PBS. No more funding for those "woke" programs says our emperor.

Well thank God we don’t have to see him IRL with no clothes - he’s an obese ugly old man - a white slug body and that neon orange face.
