Seriously, Fox News?
Were your feelings that hurt by our Substack post yesterday that you engaged in these desperate tactics?
I’m going to keep this post short for our subscribers to this Substack, but I think you’ll find this hilarious. It also shows the impact our subscribers are having (subscribe now to this Substack if you aren’t a subscriber).
Yesterday, we reported how MeidasTouch was consistently beating Fox News in digital views. We explained how this was a pretty amazing stat considering we are fueled by the subscribers to this Substack—and Fox News is funded by $14.92 billion a year. It’s the people vs. right-wing oligarchs.
Yesterday, Newsweek and other online media outlets took notice and did stories about Fox News losing to Meidas in ratings.
This sent Fox News executives into a rage.
My sources tell me how much Sean Hannity and Jesse Watters hate us and constantly whine about us beating them. Now, Laura Ingraham is apparently getting in on the action and feels threatened by the rise of Meidas. I hear Laura sent some not-so-nice emails about us. I hear the Fox encrypted text message chat is an expletive-filled anti-Meidas screed. I must admit, that makes me happy.
We know how badly Fox wants to shut us down. They were hoping their daddy Trump would go after us—but he’s too busy doing product placement for his daddy.
So here’s what Fox did to get to the top spot on the digital video charts… for a day. They are now first, and we are second.
Yesterday, they basically uploaded every Fox show to their YouTube channel over and over again. So desperate!
Every hour, Fox uploaded about 3–5 new videos and flooded their YouTube channel with about 40 videos yesterday to beat us. This was Jesse Watters’ plan.
By comparison, we uploaded 12 videos. We still beat Fox in “total likes,” but they slightly edged us out in views. Apparently, this soothed Jesse Watters’ ego. Ok, Jesse, good for you—lol.
The Fox News execs are panicking since they see what the future of media is going to be.
Sure, they can eke out slightly more views than us on a Tuesday, but overall we beat them—and we have grown with no outside investors.
Fox News is a publicly traded company with some of the largest oligarchs and institutional investors backing it—and $14.92 billion in revenue a year.
Sometimes I think, imagine if Meidas went public one day and the Meidas Mighty were shareholders. Imagine if we had only a fraction of the resources Fox has—could we make the race against them not even close and squash them like a bug?
I’m so proud that we’ve built this pro-democracy institution with our Substack subscribers here. It doesn’t bother me that Fox went up slightly. It’s clear that their trajectory is declining and the Meidas Mighty is rising.
Oh, and how about the guests we’re getting on our shows… it’s been so awesome—some of these interviews with the top political leaders in the country.
Listen to our exclusive interview with NY Attorney General Letitia James on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
We don’t chase news and narratives on the MeidasTouch Network—we break news and set the agenda: a pro-worker, pro-democracy, pro-equality, pro-America, pro-climate, pro-freedom, pro-compassion and empathy, and pro-truth agenda.
Let’s keep building this network—and please, now is the time to subscribe to this Substack if you can.

FOX News is a total joke; they are a bunch of crybabies losers.
thank you for shining a light on all this darkness!!
