I cancelled my Amazon Prime after the WaPo debacle and haven’t looked back.

I cancelled my Amazon prime this past weekend too. I know us cancelling won’t hurt his pockets, but I wish a lot more people started doing that.

I took a break and found the drug of package delivery overnight too powerful to combat. Went back and shopped there again.

This is not okay. I am pulling my Amazon prime. That means I need to find an alternative to Audible too.

My money will not be going to people who are out for themselves and not for the people. That is not how I live my life.

What about Kindle alternatives? I’d love to shit down my Amazon account in Its entirety.

If you like short stories I enjoy listening to Levar Burton.

Get a library card to check out e-books, or you can also look at Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple books, Google play books, e-books.com and if you like older books, Internet archive. On many of them, you can still decide to read on your Kindle if you have one or I read on my iPad or even a laptop.

Me too! It’s had positive results. I’m an octogenarian introvert. Boycotting Amazon has forced me to shop in my neighborhood. Getting out of the house frequently has been a blessing. I have more energy; I’ve met some very interesting people. I highly recommend it.
