We were wondering about David Muir. Fell out with him during the debates when he insisted on calling that orange mess "Mr. President" when he should have addressed him as "Mr. Trump" or (preferably) "Mr. Felon." He was a favorite of ours.
Yes. Edward R. Murrow comes to mind. I enjoyed Wm. F. Buckley, Huntley and Brinkley too. Serious Journalism sank to a new low until MTN came along. I got a kick out of Walter Winchell and Hedda Hopper and their Hollywood banter back in the day.
CBS = Crash, Burn, and SINK!
I never liked CBS anyhow except for 60 Minutes. I hope we can work out a deal here at Meidas. Go Go Go
I like Stephen Colbert too....I wonder what he'll say about all this.
Draft Jon Stewart for president
Yes. Will he stand for something? Or, fall for anything?
OH yes, I like him too.
Dan Rather has his own Substack and it is great........He is a very big music fan as well as a patriot.
Thanks for the tip! --Mrs. Ed
Keep in mind the twin debacles of Kenneth's Frequency & that he ended up on RT for a long while.
Agreed. You have to go back to Walter Cronkite.
Walter was against the Vietnam war.........he would be a major anti-Trump voice

...and All In The Family, of course. There's a lot to be said for sliding stuff under the door using the grease of Comedy.
Boy, you're right there! Unfortunately it would be lost on those who really need to be impacted by it.
I thought of this one... "Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again".
Which I've never personally said, but he'd be an improvement over the current shitshow.
Rin Tin Tin would be an improvement!
At a certain age, most of us cut our teeth on Crinkite! I mean the assassination if JFK, MLK, Jr., RFK, and the first moon walk!!!! Walter was my man.
