Canadian citizens have already been boycotting American products (and without any urging from their govt, who also supports us). They are also cancelling all plans to travel to the US, esp in the Carolinas and Florida where they can make up to 40% of their total tourism dollars. (It's been making a huge impact; the affected owners of those US businesses here have been contacting their US senators/reps PLEADING with them to do something. Mexico's president has been standing right up against trump, and "to his face". There is also some evidence that Mexican citizens are also boycotting American products as are some Europeans. WE NEED TO DO THE SAME OURSELVES. On Feb 28 there is a national boycott happening. NO SHOPPING ALL DAY on amazon, apple, meta, tesla, etc., and other big companies capitulating to trump/musk. Only exception, small local businesses. But why wait till the? Money is the only thing driving these thieves. Cancel accounts. Put the squeeze on them. If we all do it it will get their attn. The plan that Elon has had it's naissance in a movement in the 1930's called "Technocracy". His grandfather was a "card carrying" member and quite likely his ideas influenced Elon's father and then Elon. (I would like to thank Hal Sparks for an entire lesson about this last week on his You Tube channel)

"The technocrats emphasized that economists, engineers, and other professionals should control the economic system, rather than leave it to politicians or businesspeople with vested interests in maintaining the status quo.

End of Private Property:

Technocrats argued that private ownership of resources and means of production was obsolete and counterproductive.

They advocated for collective ownership of the nation’s resources, managed by experts on behalf of the public."(Elon thinks he's an expert...my opinion is he's just another grifter)

They (the Technocrats) had a map of how North America would look if they took over

https://bostonraremaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/BRM4117-Technate-of-America-1940_lowres2-scaled.jpg

The map is an eerily similar visual representation as to the ideas tRUMP has been spewing about taking over Canada and Greenland.....

This is what happens when dumb rich people gain control, in my opinion.

Way longer than that. You need to know the players in this game to realize, that it will affect all democracies around the world. We are just the biggest, according to population, with the most impact.

Read up on history!

Europe had exactly 80 years of democratic freedom while the US enjoyed their democratic republic since their beginning.

Ever since the end of the civil war, supremacists were active to dismantle the outcome, the civil rights movement threw another obstacle in their way. It made them more energetic to pursue their goals of absolute white power. Reagan helped a lot to accomplish their objective.

Meanwhile ,across the pond, Putin , the racist in persona , gained power in the early nineties and has been ruling with Punity.

Early on, East and West, decided to cooperate since they had the same aspirations.

And here we are! Fighting a big monster !

Putin and Musk as well as Trump (too old and dumb, though) are dreaming of world power.

We have to prevent that! We need to mobilize all our democratic partners and cooperate in sustaining our freedom!

Who’s taking the lead? I’m in!

Dems in Congress need to push back—need more than just words!!! They could have slowed the proceedings way down using tools at their disposal. Remember Tommy Tuberville holding up nominations? Remember Mitch McConnell’s obstructions?

Why don’t Dems fight for us? Why aren’t they opposing everything Republicans are doing? Why such weak leadership from Jeffries and Schumer? Why didn’t Dems have a well organized plan ready to execute when Trump won. They had Project 2025 almost 2 years. They said Trump was a fascist repeatedly.

Now, they are waking up a little—but maybe too late, as Trump now has complete control of the Justice Department, the intelligence services, and now the military, with Hegseth and a Joint Chiefs of Staff likely to be confirmed by Senate. This nominee has said to T, “I love you, sir. I think you’re great, sir. I’ll kill for you, sir.”

Will Dems use tools they have to block Gen. Caine? Or just make forceful speeches that do nothing to stop the process?

The truth is that the issue is wehther they are patriotic Americans. Some may be.

I remember people lile Bill Cohen, who was Susan Collins' boss, switching from Republican. Arlen Specter. Lots of House members. Some members, like my Republican rep, represent a Democratic majority. She is a woman. a Cuban, many who took advantage of DEI. She represents a district chocked full of people who receive governmental benefits, some under the Cuban Adjustment Act. Putin is the ally of the Cuban commie government.

I merely asked Rick Scott about his position. Did you not see the reply?

Why do you disscourage/minimize people? Are you another bot?

If people find my comments discouraging, that's on them, not me. They can skip reading my posts. I don't find minimizing the dire circumstances we're in -- or sowing false hope -- to be helpful in any way. Am I another bot? Not sure what the "another" part is -- are you saying you're a bot? -- rather, I am a third generation American citizen.

They’re probably afraid of prosecution and subsequent execution, as Trump promised .

Sadly, these republicans apparently don’t,care about the future for their children and grand children. It’s shameful.

That’s maybe the point we need to get across to those freaking representatives. Asking them: do you want your children/grandchildren grow up and live under dangerous conditions as the Trump regime promises.? Your son/ daughter might voice different opinions and if one doesn’t align with an authoritarian out the window they are.

Where I live, with a Dem majajoity, 3 MAGAT Batistaiano House members. All Cuban Americans. Trump is deporting Cubans who have humanitarian visas.

Many of their constituants are also Venezuelan, Hatian. I don't know it as a fact but most had sponsors who are local residents and probably supported Trump. No mas!. https://www.miamiherald.com/opinion/editorials/article300732909.html

2 of the 3 had been Dem. One was our Dem Mayor until 2020.

Constiuents should be sitting in. Picketing.

Not necessarily. Her's a response from my MAA senator. Pass it on.

Trump Ukraine policy stupidity is a window of opportunity.

Send your rep a copy of this:

Dear Mr. Solomon,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the war in Ukraine. I appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Russia is a cancerous, evil regime that threatens our national security by attempting to control as much of Europe and Eurasia as it can. It also supports the regimes in Iran, Communist China, Cuba, and Venezuela. All of them continually seek to harm the United States and force us into a position of dependence upon them for our livelihood. Vladimir Putin’s unjustifiable and unlawful invasion of Ukraine is just one more example of this fact. I believe that the United States must continue to stand strongly with Ukraine and provide the lethal military aid it needs to win this war. Putin’s murderous attacks are a threat to our national security and the security of our democratic allies.

While we must continue to support democracy in Ukraine, I will not allow Russia’s unjust invasion to deprioritize or slow progress on solving urgent domestic issues such as securing the border, fighting inflation and rebuilding our national defense. Congress can continue to act and solve these issues, which we owe to the American people.

As Florida’s U.S. Senator, and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I will continue fighting for allies around the world, while also ensuring we take care of our families here at home. I am proud to represent every citizen in Florida and I appreciate the time you took to provide your position on this matter. Should you have any additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Rick Scott

United States Senator

Yes. But never look a gift horse in the mouth. I am told that Wicker, Mrkowski, Tillis have said the same.

I'm grateful for any evidence that MAGATs respect duty, honor, country.

BTW, I'd rather see duds like Gabbard than someone who is actually qualified and competent. Rope a dope. We've been spending too much energy in the wrong places. If only 2 House members flip, Dems control. https://jerryweiss.substack.com/p/impeachment-is-imperative

I’m watching the latest Meidas Touch post on YouTube. Ben just showed a clip of a young woman veteran sharing how she feels. Trump supporters need to see this!!! However, I’m sure they are at the effect of all this as well.

We have to go past this. It is their intention to keep us busy, getting emotional over our fellow men/women , while they dismantle the government. Keep your eyes on what is really going on!

Complaining about their unjust actions doesn’t get us anywhere, damage already done and not reversible. We have to develop a plan, fast!

We need a few individuals with far reach to take the lead , NOW!

I hope, everyone realizes that we have no time to waste. Remember, we are still the majority.

Yes! Same here! I’m from Georgia, so I really enjoyed seeing the Townhall with Rich McCormick.😂The constituents were a force to be reckoned with. It was so bad for McCormick that he cancelled his interview with a news network that was supposed to happen after the Townhall. 😂😂

Who was that woman who questioned McCormick- she was great

She also got him to admit that Biden was elected in the 2020 election… I don’t know if too many people noticed that admission (one sentence before he compared them to the Jan 6ers)

Glen Grothman in Wisconsin.met with this clown in 2009 when he was in the state legislature. Met to discuss educational funding. He could have cared LESS! Now in Congress and he has gotten much worse. It did my heart good to see him basically running away. Scott Fitzgerald was in the state legislature in 2020 and was part of the fake electors scheme..he is MAGA thru and thru..good to see him shot down as well.
