If Substack, BlueSky and other independent news sources are eventually taken down, how/where will we find each other? People need to start talking about this. I’m horrified by the dismantling of all our Constitutional norms.

Yes it is. Meeting locally and then networking with neighboring groups until we have linked arms clear across this country is the way to show allegiance to each other and to our Democracy.
No worries. As long as there is an Internet this is a way. I had a website once that I uploaded with an ftp client (really old school). If they take down the Internet, they lose their audience as well. So, as long as there is an Internet, there is a way! - and don't be surprised if other countries provide apps to allow us to communicate - in fact there are other apps from other countries that would allow for us to do that right now. We just don't use them.
And if all else fails, we go old school - paper and pen - delivery services in whatever form of delivery we have. People have been connecting for centuries.

We will meet each other in the streets then.
It is important to start local groups and connect to others around you as well. Thanks Meidas!

Thanks! A helpful response, I appreciate it.
I’ve been asking this question on Substacks since November. No response yet. 🤷🏻♀️
