I’ve done a lot of interviews, but this one with Senator Elizabeth Warren hit different.
We dove into what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest financial scandals in modern American history. Donald Trump, who’s turned the presidency into a pump-and-dump scheme for his failing media company and billionaire friends, posted “great time to buy” while signing it DJT—his own stock symbol—just hours before a sudden tariff “pause” announcement. The markets surged right before the announcement. Coincidence? Yeah, right.
Senator Warren laid it out clearly: someone made billions off that timing. If those trades were based on inside info, that’s not just unethical—it’s criminal. But as she reminded us, under the Trump regime, the DOJ and SEC are too busy disappearing migrants and chasing MAGA fantasies to investigate obvious white-collar crimes. That’s why Warren and a group of lawmakers are demanding state attorneys general step in and investigate. Because someone has to.
And if that wasn’t enough, she torched Trump’s economic policy for what it is: chaos. The kind of chaos that drives consumer confidence off a cliff, sends treasury yields skyrocketing, and forces everyday Americans to check the futures market before bed like we’re living in a dystopian financial thriller.
Warren didn’t hold back on Elon Musk either, calling out his bizarre role in Trump’s cabinet reality show and his laughable math on supposed “savings” from gutting public services. The punchline? Firing veterans, teachers, and financial watchdogs while pretending it’s “fiscal responsibility.” Give me a break.
What we’re witnessing isn’t leadership. It’s a billionaire boys club strip-mining the country while they cackle over champagne and pink slips.
But there’s a path forward. Warren and Sen. Ron Wyden have introduced a resolution to strip Trump of the fake emergency powers he’s abusing to impose these catastrophic tariffs. If just a handful of Republicans could grow a spine, they could put an end to the chaos—today. But we know how these folks operate.
