I don't expect them to wake up. I suspect that they are in tRump's pocket. He has promised them riches and all they see are $ signs and power. They don't care at all about the Constitution, about our Democracy, Our Country. They are self-centered creeps that are traitors.

Trump fired any republicans who dared to challenge him or disagree with him and replaced them with MAGA sycophants so there would be no checks and balances. This includes the corrupt Supreme Court.

It’s all Project 2025 to destroy America and democracy and replace it with a white supremacist Christian national autocracy. The billionaires also behind it like Peter Thiel and Curtis Yarvin plan to run the country like a business and get more wealth and power. Look it up. They’re hiding in plain sight.

Republicans could impeach every incompetent and dangerous sycophant in his cabinet if they had the guts. They hold all the cards. I'm sure the Dems would go along with any attempt to impeach these dangerous fascist, wanna-be dictators. Since they're doing nothing it appears they're quite on board and content with this destruction of our economy, our standing and reputation on the world stage and, most, our democracy. But hey, they got to own the libs, so at least there's that.

Absolutely right. I read that many Republicans in Congress have bought into the ideology of Curtis Yarvin who is one creepy weird guy. I’ve seen pictures of them at events together. He has said democracy is dead. Peter Thiel said freedom and democracy can’t co-exist. These are two of the most influential Silicon Valley actors behind Project 2025.

You have to wonder...what created morally bankrupt guys like this. I take it they see the rest of us as serfs??

Greed and power I think causes this. Serfdom seems to be the end goal after we’ve lost everything and are pretty much impoverished. That’s why we need to fight as hard as we can.

CAPITALISM created this. Rampant greed derived from Capitalism. Only rich people love it. It has never helped the middle, lower, or poor classes.

“It takes money to make money”

Just like the only people who benefit every time Trump pump and dumps the stock market are rich people with high amounts of liquid assets to invest with. Lower class couldn’t benefit even if they knew about it.

Exactly, Thiel said that his plans are so crazy that no one would believe them until it's too late.

34% project 25 is already implemented in only 100 days.

There’s actually a timeline of what they’ve accomplished and what’s left to do. I can’t look at it regularly. It’s too upsetting.

Please post where you see this “timeline”. I think it needs to be front and center in the faces of those who support the Orange Blob and his handlers. They are a cult and it needs to hit them hard that they are being hurt by his policies.

Republicans in congress are now his brown shirt Nazis. It’s important we vote each one out as they come up for re-election. 💙💙💙

Perhaps, but Trump does not use carrots nearly as much as he uses sticks. I think much more likely is that Trump has threatened them with primaries, with exposing indiscretions, or they have received personal threats from Trump’s nuttier maggots. Either way, I agree the Republican Congress is not asleep, they are afraid to rock their prized boat. But what the heck is wrong with so very many of the Dems? Tight races for their seats, enjoying the money, power and perks (legal and less, like insider trading, etc?), fear of reprisals? IDK. To them, WAKE UP indeed.

Why slag the Democrats? They are not responsible for this mess, far from it, and do not have the power to impeach and convict....which ummmm Republicans in Congress do have, in spades.

The solution here is to impeach, convict and repeat as necessary to defend and uphold a) the Constitution, and b) to protect the economy, c) to protect American workers, d) to maintain the reputation of America as a powerhouse both financially and morally, c) to declare categorically that lying, suppressing the vote, silencing the media, silencing any critics, silencing the judiciary....are not only wrong, they weaken the country.

EXACTLY- stop blaming the Dems for Trump’s successes. They are filing lawsuits as fast as his illegal acts are announced. Trump holds the office of president and both houses of Congress, plus a majority of the Supreme Court.

Dems are speaking out. The big chance will be the mid-term elections in November 2026.

VOTE ALL DEMOCRAT IN YOUR STATE LEGISLATURE AND CONGRESSIONAL SEATS.

Hate to say it, as I used to be an R, but they have all been neutered by this criminal’s threats.

Congressional Democrats (both House and Senate). with the exception of a few like Bernie, AOC, Booker, Crockett, and maybe a few others are completely feckless and not worth the powder to blow them to hell.

This is precisely why we need to get rid of Citizens United. These PACs allow the ultra-wealthy to buy elections.

It is also imperative that we stop Congressional positions for life. These war chests built up over years, like Senator Lindsay Graham’s $50 million in SC, essentially buys his certain win. He bends over ( literally and figuratively) for his donors who keep him in office to do their bidding.
