Trump’s Decomposition and America’s Decline

The proof of life press conference, his begging, and the collapsing economy tell the same story: Trump is rotting, and he’s taking America with him.

By Ben Meiselas

I’ve been saying it for weeks now: Donald Trump looks like a man decomposing in real time. The White House keeps rolling out blurry, Bigfoot-style photos, and today they promised us a “major press conference.” His so-called big announcement? Not a plan to fix the collapsing economy he created, not a vision for America’s future. Apparently, he’s just moving Space Force headquarters from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama. Proof of life, indeed.

Meanwhile, businesses are reporting stagflation, empty trucking fleets, sugar prices surging thanks to his reckless tariffs, and orders drying up across industries. This isn’t the “golden age” Trump claims. It’s the economic apocalypse he designed.

Then, as if the economic carnage weren’t enough, he’s bragging about Woody Allen wanting to make a Trump film. I’m not sure the director who partied with Epstein and married his ex-wife’s adopted daughter is the best character witness for him right now. Trump thinks this is good company to flaunt. If it feels creepy, that’s because it is.

Meanwhile, Trump is defaming American cities, threatening to unleash the military as his personal police force, and getting slapped down by federal judges for flagrantly violating the Posse Comitatus Act (a BIG win for Gavin Newsom). He’s surrounding himself with incompetent cronies, cabinet members who rant about windmills, mock renewable energy, and spout homophobic garbage about monkeypox while dismantling the CDC. These are the people running America into the ground.

And don’t just take my word for it. Hedge fund billionaire Ray Dalio is warning that Trump’s America looks like the 1930s, sliding into authoritarianism and setting up a “debt-induced heart attack” within three years. This is what Trump does. He leaves time bombs ticking, then blames the firefighters when they try to put out his fires. He did it his first term, and it’s happening again—but worse.

Back to my report, and I want to make this very clear.

Donald Trump may pretend to be the savior, but in reality, he’s the arsonist. He is the crisis. He is physically deteriorating before our eyes, mentally unfit to govern, and dragging the country down with him.

Now is the time to fight back. Now is the time to tell the truth louder than his lies. Now is the time to stand up, organize, and push this decomposing conman into the ash heap of history where he belongs.
