Our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was on the radio again today. Preparing for the Trumpian Tariffs is taking place during all hours of the day. We will be ready when this......#&%#$#$%&%$......puts these needless tariffs into action.

The egg shelves were empty in our local Target. With a sign apologizing and saying they are trying to find other vendors. How? There are only so many egg vendors and all stores are trying to contract with them. How are they "going to find" someone else?

I'm getting the same rude awakening feeling as when I went into a store at the beginning of COVID and saw people scrambling for toilet paper and the empty shelves. "Is this COVID for real?" I said at the time. Now, I'm wondering if we at the beginning of critical egg shortages and continuing higher prices? How will this affect the food industry that relies on eggs? Will prices continue to go up? Will Bird Flu spread among human population?

I had a friend who raised his own chickens. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep the raccoons from raiding his coop and killing the birds, so he gave up.

I used to raise them. It isn't as easy as some people make it out to be.

And it can be expensive....the food and calcium prices will be going up. Also, it takes a lot of water for chickens.

Our Safeway in Oregon was out of them because of Bird Flu problem in December, through Christmas. I haven't tried to get any recently, so I don't know if they are still having an issue, it's not on their weekly sales flyers anymore saying that they don't have eggs, so I assume they do. I just thought I would wait a bit longer.

Try Aldi. They tend to be a little less aggressive in price.

When this current Avian Flu outbreak has run its course and the chicken population recovers and begins laying again, egg prices will settle down, like always.

Dead chickens don't lay eggs. So the supply is way down and prices are high. There's no politics involved in this.

Google “Just Egg.” Same taste and texture but more nutrition and protein. I make my daily Beyond Meat sausage and “egg” breakfast sandwich with it every day.

Egg prices are going up because of the spread of avian flu, which is also why they're becoming scarce at the grocery store. Same with milk. That's why The Felon told Hannity that he doesn't care about the economy. His concern about 'groceries' and the prices of anything evaporated once the election was over. He doesn't need the MAGAs to vote for him anymore, so they and their concerns dropped off his radar.
