The voting machines likely were compromised in PA, but I don't think they were anywhere else. Truth is, compromising the machine is easy.. all it takes is inserting a thumb drive for a few seconds. That gives you access and knowledge about what machine is going where. You can't just do it randomly. It has to look legitimate. Let me be totally clear about what is happening here.
We have been working closely with law enforcement. There is no unmet need. The President is attempting to inflame passions and provoke a response.
He would like nothing more than for this provocative show of force -- and Pete Hegseth's absurd threat to deploy United States Marines on American soil – to escalate tensions and incite violence.
These are not people who have some deep conviction about protecting law enforcement. This is a President who failed to call up the National Guard when it was actually needed -- on January 6th -- and then pardoned the participants as one of his first acts as president.
They want a spectacle. They want the violence.
They think this is good for them politically.
That is why White House aides were posting pictures of Trump getting popcorn last night.

My question is, when will our military decide they took an oath to uphold the constitution, not one man.

National Guardsmen did not sign up to oppose their own friends and neighbors. Some just depend on that only or extra income. Would most of us if we were primary support to a family stand against a legal action by a boss. If it isn’t legal he will maneuver around that. I will be out there June 14 - no rowdiness and no profanity on a sign. That behavior is our enemy. It is enough to be corporeal. That in itself may bring trouble but I do not plan to make any. The marines (and other armed forces) swore an oath to the constitution FIRST. I’m sure this is challenging for them also. What will it take for our military to stand together and peacefully say ‘no’?

True, Pat. Having been in the NC Army National Guard, we rarely saw officers in the field higher than captain (most company commanders). These troops need to see the big brass out front, because these will be the first to give orders. If the majors, colonels, and generals refuse an illegal order, that will be a big help for the younger soldiers.

So I think we have to have other very specific plans of action and focus on them. Based on some interviews I've seen on MTN there are quite a few very strong Dem governors who will fight all they can to prevent the calling up of their national guards...I don't know what is going on in CA regarding this. And I hope and pray that there are 5 SC justices that when push comes to shove, about the really big issues they will uphold the constitution. And maybe there will be just enough GOP members of congress who will actually show they have a spine and integrity and will not allow martial law after trump enacts it (the way I read thing it seems Congress does have the power to stop martial law). If musk would start to threaten a few of these guys with outspending trump to get them voted out, they may start to think a bit differently about their unquestioned loyalty to trump rather than their constituents...not that working for musk would be much different.

Don’t need to be a lawyer or a politician to predict what happened. I knew this Regime was looking for an excuse to keep the protests quiet on June 14 and this is it. Protesting is becoming more and more dangerous especially if they have J6ers in the name of ICE antagonizing the public. My question is, when will our military decide they took an oath to uphold the constitution, not one man.
I hope Americans won't let fear keep them from next weekend's protests. It's scary. But the true definition of courage is doing the right thing even though it's scary. That is asking a lot. Are we willing to take similar risks for ourselves. Do we have the courage we are asking from others, particularly military members who very well may feel as we do. National Guardsmen did not sign up to oppose their own friends and neighbors. Some just depend on that only or extra income. Would most of us if we were primary support to a family stand against a legal action by a boss. If it isn’t legal he will maneuver around that. I will be out there June 14 - no rowdiness and no profanity on a sign. That behavior is our enemy. It is enough to be corporeal. That in itself may bring trouble but I do not plan to make any. True, Pat. Having been in the NC Army National Guard, we rarely saw officers in the field higher than captain (most company commanders). These troops need to see the big brass out front, because these will be the first to give orders. If the majors, colonels, and generals refuse an illegal order, that will be a big help for the younger soldiers.
