Yeah about half of a century of me watching them increasingly do so. Try your Google Fu for shits sake. People have talked about this for decades now. I'm not spoonfeeding you.

Are you pro-democracy or not? If yes, cultivating the willingness to engage in real, respectful debates with fellow citizens is VITAL. As Aristotle already showed, without thriving public debate, no democracy can ever thrive - or survive.

And this is exactly what's wrong with so many "pro-democracy voters in name only" in this country. All you have to offer is cynicism.

A democracy is a government that works only FOR the people when it is BY the people. And that starts with engaging in real discussions, where no one indulges in vague "must be true because others told me" arguments...

So with that, any concrete example, at least?

And they don't debate or engage as we should . It's all revenge , crimes, cons , worshipping ONE MAN . Not normal times. Need better solutions.

I was actually just talking about you and me here. We can't outsource engaging in real discussions and backing up our own claims, or wait until everyone else starts doing so too. This IS what being a citizen means, regardless of what others do.

So again, any concrete example of what you meant when you said "Dems went corporate"?

Oh sorry, I confounded you with Sharon.

In that case, why would it matter that GOP voters would refuse to engage in real debates (for now)?
